On the road
LOL

I could have saved a ton of money by quitting smoking but I just keep buying more vaping related stuff. I really doubt I have saved a dime since I quit LOL.

I guess that just goes with being something of a tech geek. I console myself by thinking I'm really saving money in potential medical costs saved by quitting.

Besides, sooner or later I'll run out of cool stuff I don't yet have. Maybe.

I always tell myself that after i get my ideal setup that my spending will go down...But there always seems to be something more awesome-er right around the corner huh? I am a major tech nerd myself and i always have to MAKE myself just stop lol :p

I guess this is becoming a hobby for me...even after i drop the nic to zero i will still buy/diy flavored juices..But hey..i love it and im not killing myself or taking out loans.

I know I saved a bunch of $$$$...no more $500 a month (5 cartons) for analogs for the past 10 months..so that's $5000 I saved so far...my vapor expenses are $13 monthly plus a starter kit and some clearos ($40), so $170 total in 10 months, versus $5000.....that's a helluva lot of cash for beer, food, electric, utilities, gas, and vacations, that I have saved by switching to vaping...not to mention the health bennies...just financially , switching to vaping was a no brainer..and a piece of cake to do..

Even is the money is a "break even", you're not spending it on product(s) that end up in an ashtray.

I've spent a bit, but especially when it comes to hardware I still have something to show for the money that I've spent. Cartos, juices and batteries are "consumables", but I still think that I get more "bang for the buck" even having to replace those on occasion.

I have spent "a bit" since June 18th of this year, but I also know that I have everything I need for probably 2 years.
I do my own coils and make my own juice, so the $ I will be saving just doing those 2 things alone are more than ample to recoup my losses and then save me $. The best part............I am not smoking!!!! After 38 years and never even contemplating quitting, I will reap my benefits by everything I just typed.

You CAN begin to save money after finding the ideal setup and a few favorite flavors of e-liquid.

The issue with many of us is this often becomes as much a hobby as well as a means to quit smoking.

After 1.5 years since I quit smoking, I've found the perfect battery setup (two Provari's), several fully capable backups, plenty of batteries for all, and two battery chargers. I've also got all the juice delivery attachments that I will ever need. (twelve pyrex cartotanks, several months worth of my favorite cartomizers, a few clearomizers with replacement heads, and two RBA tanks)

I have enough commercially made juice to last me at least a couple of months, and I have a large 500 ml bottle of un-flavored nicotine e-liquid and concentrated flavorings that I can make my own DIY liquids.

I could go several months or longer without spending ANY money on vaping, which is a good thing because I am currently unexpectantly unemployed after losing my job after over 30 years of dedicated and loyal service.

Its a trend for many people. I know people who have to get the latest and greatest I phone, Ipod, Ipad, or anything else with an I in front of it. As for me Im still using Ego type devices and carrying a LG Remarq phone.

That is just one huge bag of suck.
I am so sorry, dear one.
You are so kind and so helpful that I am confident that Karma will fix this situation soon!
Very best regards,
Pat
