Went to my cousins wedding yesterday and brought my SVD along for the ride. I've had the thing about a month and while I'm outside I go to take a vape and its not firings. At first I think I've turned it off and forgotten. Go to turn it off and the LED saids "oFF", ok kinda weird. So I go to turn it back on and after three clicks nothing. Come to find out the connector for the button is busted, you really have to mash the hell out of it to get it to work. Called the website I got it from and they said they've got a 48 hout DOA policy, called my local store and they said no one in the store would be able to fix it.

So yeah, poor little SVD is dead. My first AVP (first love so to speak), dead of a door nail. I went to my local store and bought an MVP and ordered a new SVD from fast tech so I'll be good to go soon but now I've got my poor dead little SVD staring me next to me laptop...very sad.

I'm interested din picking up a dead SVD to tear it apart. U interested in donating it to science?

BTW. Good choice ordering from FT, SVD is a fantastic device and you just got a dud or maybe refurbished . I don't know where you bought it before but 48 hrs for an APV.. don't give them any business anymore.

Who would have though someone would make a comment about buying a provari. I refuse to own on just because of all the vari workship that goes around, that said I have a friend that owns one and it does seem to be a good apv but the svd is a better build quality in my opinion and ive used/owned tons of mods. THAT said, maybe yours broke so fast because it came from fasttech. Probably not but the refurbished idea from earlier isnt something I wouldnt put past them. Then again im probably just hatin cause I pay more for things rather than wait cause im so impatient. THAT said, ima go to the grocery store and silently poot in busy isles and walk away fast so they dont know who did it....

LOL. Nice try, but that isn't "donating it to science".

Just send him a PM and ask to buy it off him for extremely cheap, that is the LEAST you could do, let's be honest.

Sorry to hear about your SVD. I got two from Fasttech back when they came out and they still work fine. I have given them to family members and they use them everyday. Great Mods, Built well.. If you would have gotten it from Fasttech, they have a 6 months return policy. They are slow, but they do come through.

As far as the Provari hater.... well... you wont know until you use one. With a statement like you made, you have never had one in your hand nor have you used one. I have had one for about a month and have ordered another yesterday for a family member. I wont tell you what I think of them...... but you might be able to guess.

Can't wait for my MVP2. If it's anything like SVD I will have a hard time choosing.

Re: ProVari, it's not like we're hating it but 1 Provari is like 5 SVD'S in price.
What really pisses me off about Provari is the $20 cap for 18650 batteries. How can you charge that much for the damn chunk of metal?! And why not offer the default option with 18650 and offer the other options as extras. These old used car salesman tactics just made me look somewhere else and honestly I spent a lot until I finally found the SVD.
