Hello Fellow Reo Lovers...

I'm coming up on one year of vaping. Started out with an eGo and graduated to a Reo Grand using a LR510 1.5 ~ 2ohm attys (since Dec 2010). I absolutely love my REO GRAND but have not been able to find a juice flavor strong enough to maintain the flavor taste with every vape. Initial taste....yum..., then.... just tons of vapor and satisfying the nic craving.

My taste buds are back to normal because when I pick up my eGo and drip, I taste the BWB juice flavors with every vape.... but not with my Grand. I've tried many flavors from only two vendors (BWB & FSUSA). I've let the juice steep but same result.... initial taste then no flavor taste.. I've read BWB's flavors are mild and smooth. I've been vaping BWB Espresso daily since it seems to satisfy more than any of the other BWB flavors I've tried.

If you have experienced flavor loss and have found a flavor that you can actually taste with every vape on your REO, please let me know the flavor and vendor so I can try to get the "wow" vape taste I keep reading about on ECF..... Thanks so much

PS: I've tried cartos and different attys on my Reo using the BWB ..... same result, initial flavor taste then it's gone.

When I got my Grand I found that DIY and uping my flavors to 20% did the trick. I like the flavors to be strong! Many vendors have the double flavors option, are you trying that? A lot of REO users get the flavor they need from many different juices. It did not work for me that well. Hope someone gives you a new one to try and it works well for you.

Could it be your vaping the same flavors for too long of a period at a time? I know 1-2 through my Grand bottle I add a few extra drops of flavor when they get muted. I think I just get used to the same flavor and loose the taste after a while.
I do mostly DIY but I really like FSUSA juices. They are the only ones I buy still on occasions.

I've heard that the LR510 1.5 2ohm attys on the Reo work best with tobacco type flavors and that the SR's work better for the fruit and desert types. What flavor/type of juice are you having the most problems with??

The Reo doesn't like to be flooded... and flooding the LR is where the flavor is (for me anyway). I get around this by sqonkng 2-3 times gently and with pause between sqonks to let the excess go back into the bottle, before vaping. This works well for me and my pina colada. I hope this helps you too.

No... I've tried many flavors with BWB...... FSUSA results were the same. So far, DIYer's are responding

What are SR's? I vape Espresso (BWB) and requested extra flavor once but still didn't notice continued taste.. I squonk the same way you do.... Where did you purchase your Pina Colada?

SR= Standard Resistance. These don't have to be constantly wetted for the flavor to come through.

Gosh, I buy Pina Colada everywhere lol. It's my go to juice. TastyVapor.us is pretty consistant flavor wise. I usually order it 20vg/80pg and sometimes 30/70. I've never been let down. On my Reo I do have to gently sqonk more often with my LR306 though. I'm going to switch to my SR atty soon and see how it fares.

I just ordered PinkSpot's variations of Pina Colada and will let you know how that fares with my Reo.

I like MsTsBakery in my eGo but haven't tried it in my Reo yet because it's all gone, but I ordered some on Thursday and should recieve next week or two. I'll let you know how that fares on the Reo too.

FSUSA sent me a great bottle of PC one time. But I haven't tried it on my REO because it's all used up.

So, I guess, the short answer to your question would be: TastyVapor.us

Thank you mlinky.... will give it a go.

I think you are vaping your juice at lower wattage with your eGo. If you are using a standard eGo, it is regulated to 3.2v. Your REO is 3.7v. Since the REO is "hotter" than your eGo, you might try a cooler atty. Try a SR resistance atomizer (2.3ohm) on your REO and see if that helps.

Ive had the same problem as you using atties, until a friend of mine suggested trying Boge 3 ohm cartos on 6 volt. Now I get solid flavor from the time I fill a bottle, until its empty on my Grand.

Using Cisco Atties (1.5-2.0):
Ms. Ts
BWB
AVE
and even DIY (Capellas, TPA, Flavourart) all seem to get bland tasting using atomizers @ 3.7.

When changing to 6 volt with 3 ohm Boge cartos they all have strong consistent flavor until I decide to change.
I know it seems weird that a $1 Carto could out perform a 7+ dollar attie (maybe its the 6volt), but for me there is no comparison.

Give it a shot:

I just tried the SR ... and didn't like it at all. It was like it flooded and burnt at the same time. It crackled louder than any cartomizer I've used in the past but boy was I disappointed in flavor and vapor. I removed the drip tip to watch what was happening inside, and the juice was bubbling on the side of the atty like a boiling pot. Strange how it didn't provide more vapor! On my eGo it worked perfect, but not on the Reo.

So, then I thought, heck, while I'm in my atty bin, I'll try out the HR I bought from nhaler a year ago that never worked on my eGo (naturally, duh, it's HR lol). Well, well, well. It didn't like my eGo but it likes my Reo just fine. The taste and vapor are consistant... however, there isn't a whole lot of it at 3.7v. Now I need to buy a set of batts for 6v and test that out like other posters suggest. Until then, I'll continue enjoying my freshly juiced Cisco LR 306.

The 306 blows me away when freshly juiced, but like you said, the next few puffs aren't as satisfying in taste. But the vapor rocks on all accounts.

Uma... I never had success with Cisco LR306... very short lifespan along with no flavor after 1st vape.... just plenty of vapor. I'm going to try the 6v plus Cartos.... if that doesn't work for me like previous poster, DIY will be seriously considered as much as I'm not into more recipes..... I gourmet cook and roast my own coffee ..... now nic juice recipes.... my days will be tight fitting another DIY into schedule :) Oh, the days of take out a cig and light it.... then smoke :)

Hi DragonlyVaper!

I have been where you're at and was wondering if I was doing something wrong. I felt that I couldn't taste my juices after a few vapes even with a new atty. I'm still in search for my perfect vape and constantly in search for the best flavor since I vape 0nic.

I vape BWB juices most of the time and Ikenvape's RY4 pg and vg.

What I have going now are:

Red Grand - BWB RY4 w/ Smoktech dual coil carto 1.50ohm @ 4.8-5.0v
Blue Grand - IKV RY4 w/ Boge LR carto 2.0ohm @ 3.7v
or Boge 3.0ohm @ 4.8-5.0v
Woodvil - BWB eJoker w/Boge LR carto 2.0ohm @ 3.7v

Hope you find your combo :)

I can absolutely back up what Bowtie has said.

I've always had a problem keeping the flavor on my REO.

My old solution was to change atomizers every 10-12 hours. Seriously I had 50+ in rotation and would steam clean them in piles just to use them for a few hours and throw them in the dirty bin again.

I also use Boge 2Ω cartos at 3.7 but I had a habit of changing them every day too.

Then .... last friday (9 vaping days ago) I put a Boge 3Ω on at 6v .... Woa !!

Still using the same carto 9 days later (over 20ml) and the taste is just fantastic.

I'm in vaping heaven right now. Just stunned actually, I've never ever left the same carto on this long before. It hasn't even become iffy where I would think about swapping it out.

Just came home from a weekend trip and I took 3 REOs with me. Never touched the other two. The cartomizer at 6v is a winner hands down for me.
