This footage was shot this in Arizona about 15 months ago. It was a blast shooting and flying that day.

I tired different songs and groups for overlay in this video and this was one of them.

If you can try to watch in HD (go over the wheel sprocket and select HD 720)

Thank you and I totally agree with you.

There were a ton of planes that were not in the footage. There was also a helicopter (gyro cam) as well, as some p51's, spitfires, etc.

I was in the big one also known as the B-17. Did some formation flying later that day for sunset footage. I have some poor inside shots looking out as well. I trying to work in a gig for next year and crew on a bigger bird then the B-17.

I lived to fly and its a joy to fly in the sky and near the ground.

Saw your photo and that reminded me when I was flying in some thermals in Arizona.

The thermals made the airplane perform like a homesick angel.

I don't know who started the "homesick angel" but it is a great expression used in aviation when you are climbing the sky and into the heavens above.

Silly me... I hate when I quote myself. It totally lacks originality and it does not make me a expert or give me any credence.

It reminds me of this scene and how others quote themselves and others just to inflate their own ego.

It makes me feel kind of bad for the guy. I wonder what that actor is doing today. Maybe he is doing local spots on the local cable channel.

So this is all I can come up with. I put this together a few years ago. The music is old school 80's hair band, and the footage is meh.

I know its lame but the pilot flying that bird "Racer 57" Super Corsair from the Clevand Air races, just died a few months ago in a accident.

Bob Odegard was a great man and true aviator......

I guess it needs some better clips in the video but I'm too busy right now.

Fly west sir you are truly missed.....
