Does anyone have any experience with this company? Would really love to hear some feedback, and a coupon code if you have it :). I live in winnipeg and am new to vaping, looking for a one stop reliable shop for all my vaping needs. I have heard good things about Happy Vaper in Ontario but you can't get the nic juice there, and the vapes mart website is down. I am a fresh noob but after reading up I think I may be getting into DIY juice. I am using a supermini now (with many frustrations) but have the eGo kit on order from Rainbow Vapor with a couple bottles of juice. If all goes well with the ego I will be putting in another order for some of the accesories (any suggestions? drip tips? mega carts? xl atomizer? pcc? USB passthrough?) and just need some advice on what to order and where from?

The "Ego' they sell looks like a Riva to me (ego knockoff with great reviews), thats my only beef with them. hate it when vendors call thier PV`s Ego`s when they are NOT genuine Joyetech products. As you can see in my signature, Im a happyvaper fanboy for sure but thats because Jack @ happyvaper has never been anything but great with me and many others on the forum, cant go wrong with happyvaper and at least you know he sells the real stuff.

Good luck.

Hopefully it is not a knock off, but as long as it works I guess it will be OK. It said right on the description "Direct from the manufacture Joyetech, comes their newest creation, the eGO" . I might try happy vaper for my next order...what do you recommend for accessories? I am going on holidays in 2 weeks and want to make sure I have everything I need before I go. If you get all of your stuff from happyvaper, where do you get your nic juice from?

Hi lelly & welcome!
huggy.gif
I'm just heading to bed at the moment so I'm rushing this post, but welcome.

I second Neon's post, wholeheartedly. With Jack you always get friendliness, peace of mind, and quality. It's rare to encounter someone whose good reputation is so well-earned as Jack's is. He rules. Anyway - I use the automatic 900 mAh Mega eGo (from Happy Vaper) & I recommend that battery + 510 cartomizers. Didn't like the cone that I bought with it, so I never use it anymore. It acted like a silencer & also seemed to make it really hard to draw.

If your Rainbow Vapor kit is a Riva kit & you're stuck with it, you should still be OK. I don't know anything about the Riva (except that it's not genuine Joyetech), or about any compatibility issues it may or may not have with eGo chargers or attys etc. I would assume they're interchangeable but I don't know. Someone here should know though.

Definitely recommend that if you get genuine eGo's/Mega eGo's from Happy Vaper...that you also get his eGo Fast USB Charger, and the USB Wall Plug Adapter, for charging your eGo/Mega eGo batts. 510 batteries are fine for USB port charging through your computer...but eGo's have more power and higher voltage. Better safe than sorry kinda deal.

Welcome to the DIY fold too! I DIY all my juices. For flavourless PG w/nic, I go to Evapers & absolutely love it. They're in the GTA too. Rob there always ships super fast (just like Jack) and with a friendly smile. Here's the link:

E-Liquid 17 Flavors - 30 ml

Just choose Flavourless as the flavour, and then the nic level.

As to the other stuff for DIY (plain VG and/or plain PG, concentrated flavourings, dram bottles, blunt-tip syringes) Happy Vaper has those too. I basically go to Jack for everything except the flavourless PG w/nic, which Evapers takes care of.

If you don't mind waiting a bit longer for your order to arrive, you can also order flavourings directly from Perfumer's Apprentice too in California, in larger sizes & super affordable prices.

Anyway...time for us to sleep. Happy vaping & look forward to more leisurely time with you here in the forum soon!

I've looked at Rainbow Vapor and decided I would buy elsewhere. Jack has nothing to hide about his products, same goes for evapers, nicfitnation, electrovapors and vaporskitchen... All quality vendors who don't make claims they can't stand behind. Rainbow Vapor has a "6 Volt eGo" that has received bad reviews from reviewers like Kalojado and is not genuine joyetech.

Personally, I don't think I'll be shopping there, I wish I could justify it but they just aren't unique enough for me.

NO LR atties of any kind, all dekang juice, vague information and only eGo cartos.... That doesn't sell me at all.

thanks for the input, I will let you guys know what it turns out to be when it arrives. If it turns out to be a riva I guess I will be getting in touch with Jack about compatibility with his joyetech eGO accessories. Could anyone tell me more about the 900mAh mega battery or lr atomizer? I thought the eGO battery was a pretty good one, the 900 mAh is better, longer lasting? And I am still not quite sure about the atomizers....the one that is included is standard?, then there is lr or I can go the cartomizer direction?? I am not really sure what is best for me, I will be using DIY juice (eventually, still have a lot of reading up on that subject!) and want the most bang for my buck but without sacrificing ease of use (I don't mind dripping all day at home, but it is not convienient at work, I need something portable so I am not lugging around a suitcase full of supplies to get me through a 10 hour shift, and easy to use that I won't have to fidget with it every few drags) if that matters at all in deciding. Someone please point me in the right direction. rachelcoffe mentioned about picking up the eGo Fast USB Charger, and the USB Wall Plug Adapter also, are these different than what comes in the kits?

None of the products from different manufactures are compatible, unless it’s a re-brand and not really a different product.

They may look the same, but there are small differences, fractions of an inch on some dimensions that prevent one manufacture's atomizer working on another battery. You need to select what brand you want to go with and stick to that, otherwise it's replace everything from cartridges to chargers.

I wish I could find something locally, all this waiting is driving me nuts as I am constantly fighting with my supermini. Any winnipeggers out there know of anything? I got my supermini from smartsmokes.ca for the sole reason that I could meet with him in person. The customer service is great, but that is about all it has to offer, only one inferior model available that has left me high and dry until my ego arrives, which according to canada post will be in 7 days, despite it being shipped xpresspost :( I am tempted to start my own distributorship, lol. I am a bartender and vaping at work has tons of people interested but as for my experiences so far, not sure what to reccommend to them, lol, definately not what I started out with!! If I had money to invest and wasn't such a total noob, I would definately go for it. In the mean time, anyone out there in winnipeg want to get something going? lol.

so...probably not a joye...what to do now? Cancel the order and start again with Jack? If it is a Riva, are these still decent quality? I got an email a coulpe of hours ago that my package has been shipped so I am not sure what to do now. Their return policy is quite vague, either way I am taking a risk, cancel and hope to get my money back, or wait for it to come, be disappointed yet again and have to wait another painful week for the real thing to arrive from a different retailer?

Most if not all sites will not accept returns for sanity reasons, so the ordered kit if returned would go in the trash.

If unsure of a product you should email the retailer. Yes each one of us will tell you their product is the best which isn't always worth that much, but you will get factual answers such as the manufacture of the product.

To maybe overstep the bounds a bit here, I do know 1st hand that Rainbowvapor in the past did stock Joye eGOs and COULD very well still be stocking them, so you MAY have an Joye eGO on the way to you. Their 6 volt product is not a Joye product because Joye doesn't manufacture a 6 volt eGO. Contact the vendor...

All their descriptions state "Direct from the manufacture Joyetech" If it is a Riva don't fret unless they charged you for an Ego but sent you a Riva. There is about a $30 difference in price. Could just be they are using a picture of a Riva instead of an Ego pic. I have had a EM-Riva for 3 months now and love it. There are great reviews about it on Youtube and lots of ECF members love them as well.

Best of luck to you.

sent 2 emails in the past 4 hours with no reply, besides an email saying that my payment was recieved and package was shipped....

I know all the retailers here try out best to respond as quick as possible, but none of the business are large enough to have real time support. Yesterday it took a bank 24 hours to get back to me on a support question.

Patience is a virtue, my friend. ;)

For what its worth, the site does state eGO as a Joye product.

Patience is a virtue, my friend. ;)

Patience has never been one of my strong points. I am stuck between a rock and a hard place because I have gotten analogs out of my system and trying to get my nic fix from one made me sick, on the other hand, using my supermini has me incredibly frustrated and is not at all satisfying my cravings. Might have to go buy the patch or something to get me through to next week!! So don't mind my ranting and raving, I'm normally quite a pleasant person (when I have nicotine coursing through my veins!)

I got a reply from rainbow vapors today .....

"sorry for not getting back to you sooner, but I was away for the day. This is an Ego made by a company who follows the specifications of joyetech products. All accessories are compatible. I know you will love it.
Best regards, Cindy"

so, I guess this means I am not getting a joyetech product (hopefully a riva but at this point, who knows), even though the product description includes the wording "Direct from the manufacture Joyetech, comes their newest creation, the eGO. Joytech has taken the heart of the 510 model, the most popular personal vaporizer in the world, and mounted it on a huge battery to create the eGO." I feel this to be incredibly misleading and have no intention of ever dealing with this company again. So now I am at a loss as to what to do about purchasing additional accessories, they claim that this will be compatible with joyetech accessories, and I am sure their eGO knock-off accessories are compatible with their knock-off PV, but I do not intend to purchase anything else from them. Can anyone help me with any suggestions?? What are my chances of getting a full refund? Who knows, their knock-off may be not so bad, but I am worried that if I open all of the packaging, test it out and hate it, I won't be able to return an opened package.

can_supplier "Most if not all sites will not accept returns for sanity reasons, so the ordered kit if returned would go in the trash."

Does this apply to unopened packages? Even if I refuse the package from canada post and return to sender?

It’s all up to that company. You would have to ask them. I would propose that idea to them before you do it, and also remember you are going to have to pay for return shipping.

In complete fairness to them, it is possible that their product is an exact copy of the Joye product. It is possible, however, I have never seen it, but then there are so many companies making copies out there I can’t claim to have tried every one of them. I am not trying to argue against your disappointment, or justify anything, as a supplier I can’t comment beyond facts. You might want to ask specifically, “If I have a real joye 510 atomizer, will it work?”

Personally I would take it as a bit of a lesson, to enquire before you buy, just to be 100% sure. From the reviews here you can see most Canadian suppliers are very good at answering all your questions.

Given that it is already shipped, I personally would take a chance and see how the product works. E-cigarettes don’t last forever, so it’s not like you are stuck with it, as you will have to replace all the parts over time anyhow. The only other option is sending it back, which even in the best case means you are going to be out some money (return shipping) and your time.

Especially when e-cigarettes were launched there were many high profile companies selling crap for ridiculous prices like $200 for a bottom of the line kit. Many of us here fell into that trap. What you have here is a product, at a reasonable price, that isn’t exactly what you are looking for, but may work the way you want. Regardless of the units performance you are going to come out ahead of many of us ;)
