So I just rebuilt a coil on a smoktech clearo.... My vamo is giving me weird sub ohm readings if its not twisted on JUST right... What am I doing wrong?

That could indicate a loose connection or a short. Tighten the screws and see if that helps.

It's 1.6 ohm when it reads right, .1-.3 when it doesn't
There's no screws, it uses the protank heads
Benny might have been right anyway... The head was a little loose in the base... I should know better than to make these mistakes lol
Can you take some pictures of your coil?
I guess if the coil is touching something other than its ends it may shorten the coil (close the circuit in a different point).
And BTW, IMO its not a bad idea to have a multimeter, you can find them for $10-15 almost everywhere.

if its reading .1-.3, there is a short developing somewhere... I would guess that the edge of the coil is touching the air tube on the + side.
