I realized that I'm not Hindu, I'm Catholic, and we do not believe in reincarnation.............so I'm outta luck there. Shoulda paid attention when that old man from the woods said "random incoherent remarks does not a story make, OP should've named the thread Random Remarks Thread Game,".

As I sat there in limbo I heard a distant voice say "Some people just don't care" and I laughed.

I then remembered the voodoo priestess down the path and floated my way over there.

I also heard that distant voice whisper softly - 'Some people need to relax, take a vape, and chill out a little, as it isn't as serious as it seems'.

I thought to myself that the little voice is so very very wise.. The voodoo priestess restored me to my former glory and I happily began to vape again.

And BAM!!!! It hit me!!! It ISN"T as serious as it seems!!! It CAN be just a jumble of ......ed posts that make no sense because the people here just want a prize and could care less if the story makes sense or is entertaining!!

So I re-inhabited my dead body. I got up off the filthy floor of the disgusting pizza parlor and cut my legs off and glued them to my shoulders and walked out of the place using only my lips and one eyebrow.

But then another BAM I realized it is all just suppose to be a fun game not a creative writing class. Clearly I missed the point of the game and must need a midol because I am being fussy and PMSing. Off I went to the pharmacy for the midol I so desperately need.

On the way there I decided that I probably wasn't intelligent enough to read the label on the bottle cause it might make more sense than I can comprehend. So I turned around and went back home and locked myself inside.

While sulking in my house I remembered that V4L is really a kind group of people and had to remind myself that I should not be so deplorably rude to others for no apparent reason.

Look.........I just wanted a story that made SOME kind of sense. There is another Story Contest on the boards that got ridiculously stupid and I dropped out of that one and when I seen how well THIS thread was going, I joined in. But SOMEHOW, this thread got to where people would post the EXACT opposite of what you just posted instead of just going with the flow. Go ahead and read back thru if you wanna see what I mean. Several people who were here before me were posting just fine..........then sometime after I joined people just started throwing "Randomness" posts in here and things got messed up.

Y'all actually WANT a thread like that? One where you can't go back and read the story from start to finish without it sounding completely dumb?? Fine.

Lets get dumb.

I do not know if the concept of the game was intended to be some perfect written story when it was all done. I do not know where it is someone posted the exact opposite but I have seen a couple of posts that just happened to be posted at the same time and that could account for what you are referring to. In any case if you had a problem with the direction of the thread then maybe you should have contacted the OP for clarification. There is no need for any of us to be nasty to each other over a game thread and it is not the tone I have ever gotten from the V4L family.
So maybe now we can please get back on track. Thank you.


The rain cleared up and I came out of my house to see the sun finally shining. Then I decided to..............

And then I turned to the window and seen a Nathan's Hot Dog place across the street!!! "MMMMMMMMMMMM!! Hot Dogs!!!" I thought.

But hot dogs make me gag. ;-)

Feeling generous, I also bought a 15ml bottle for everyone in the store and helped myself to an ice cold Pepsi from the drink machine.

A large thick crust with everything on it and a pitcher of Coke.

examples that were not posted at the same time.......yet appear to be the exact opposite of what was established just minutes before hand.

but your right. It's just some foolish contest and I should not care. Lets start back and see how stupid we can make each other look by not keep any continuity to the story. In the end......someone is gonna win a prize and that's all that matters. Not the content. Not anything except that prize......so lets do it.
