RANT I give up. Can't sort through the modder's forum.

[rant] I know this is a rant... I don't care ATM.

I don't EVER want to build an atomizer. Ever. Never. Never. Ever. Never. (I do wish they'd perfect them, but that's another rant).

I'm also in a bad mood today. (Must be low on nic or something.) I'm usually a decent enough guy, and not always a jerk, but it's my day for it I guess. It's a pet peeve thing, I guess.

Why the hell can't we sort or moderate this sub forum? (no, I'm not volunteering).

Atomizer posts go under the "atomizer" section. Genesis mods, tank mods, anything-that-heats-in-contact-with-e-juice mods. Atomizer Mods

Power supply specific stuff goes in the battery mods section.

Posts about stock purchased stuff goes in the main forum's general section, or maybe main-reviews or main-tech issues, not in the modder's forum. If you just use a mod, that's not modding. You have to build it from parts. Any you probably soldered it too. Maybe we should rename the forum "soldering your own DIY mod".

I know it's hard with this sub-forum, since modding covers a lot, and it's hard to know if you should post in the main modding section, or the battery section sometimes. That one I understand. But if it is an atomizer, please use the atomizer section. As an added bonus, I deliberately ignore that section 99% of the time, so you won't have to wade through my rants either.

And if you don't build it from scratch/parts, or request a build, research possibilities, etc. .... it's usually better to post in reviews, technical questions, or some other main forum area.

Hey cool rant. we all need to vent every now and then.
This forum is huge, (the search thingy is useless).
You are correct about putting one's posts in the correct place otherwise it just becomes a mess.
And of course sometimes it's hard to know where to put a post. So there are two sides to it but never the less it was a damn fine rant, I enjoyed it.

The cart mod section got moved away too, not that I miss that much. I don't think people go much to the atomizer section anyway so it tends to be neglected as a choice.

It was just that I was in a nasty mood for a bit, and there were about 1/3 of the 1st page modder's section posts that didn't "fit". Hard to follow any new stuff.....

if you want to search the forum, just use google...does a much better job of finding what you are looking for in ECF. may your vaping be long lasting!

I see your point, this forum is so huge. I signed up a year ago, but didn't post for a long time because this forum is just soooo active. You post something and it's buried very quickly if people don't reply right away. In my opinion, moderation should be done in, well, moderation. I'm just coming from a forum where I was spending all my forum time, but the moderators started going crazy over there, deleting whole threads for any small infraction of which they had just added a whole new crazy list. I would be participating in a thread and then the thread would just be gone when I went to hit the post button, very frustrating. Not enough moderation can be bad, and it would be nice for someone to come and organize things, but it goes the other way too.

What the forum needs is better organization. Nuttn wrong with a moderator moving a post to a better place.

yeah, i got one of those infractions once. it was a rant about the illegal-ization of ecigs, the legalizing of another item that was once illegal, and all of that. wasnt talking about using it just the facts that came about and all.... and the use of other drugs to get of other drugs, and how freely they give addicts those others to get addicted to... the post got deleted because it referenced a so called "drug". ive seen many, many more references that got left alone... that still bugs me lol

btw dont mention advil, or ...... if you dont want your posts deleted

considering how suggestive some of the posts are in the funny pics thread I'm confused too.
I got busted for listing a PIC writer in the classifieds,,, I thought a modder would love to have it. The moderator didn't think it was e-cig related. So I still have it.

Modders don't color in the lines very well do they? I suggest the Google search if you really wanna find anything. I really think the sub-forums should go away....
