To your first question-- does it not have the little LED light on it? Mine is red when charging, green when done....

Not too sure about your second questions, as I don't have a twist, but my understanding is that the eGo batteries/chargers protect against overcharging. Wait and see what the others say though...

As for your third question, here's two threads that will help with that... very informative!

Tyger covered #1 and 3.

As to the second question: You shouldn't leave a battery charging overnight or for any extended period while you are not available nearby. Chargers can fail, protection circuits can fail. There's no hard % I can give, it's just an overall safety recommendation regardless of battery/charger. There's several precautions you can take to reduce possible fire. Getting a charge bag is probably the simplest. Personally, I only charge when I am nearby, and if I get up to go somewhere for longer than a few minutes I just unplug it.

I have an ego usb charger and a ego-c twist 650. If the battery is dead it takes an hour and half or two to charge, I assume the 1000mah would take a little longer. The led on the charger is red and blinks occasionally while it is charging. When the twist is fully charged the charger light turns green and stops charging so you don't have to worry about overcharging.

I think 12mg is puff for puff like a light cig and 18 is like a full flavor cig. My first signs of too much nicotine is head pressure or headache and my body gets shaky.
