We gots us a lil' sumptin' in common 5card. When I was 12 (1970) I heard John Mayall for the first time. My brother in law had all the Bluesbreakers records and a bunch of the later stuff. Mayall was the first musician I was into. I asked my Grandma for a harmonica for Christmas that year and sat down with the cassette tapes my bro-in-law made me and learned to play every song.
My wife and I went to see him play at a night club sometime in the late 80s. Kind of a disappointing show but it WAS Mayall and he was about 10 feet away from my table.
Rock and roll owes most of it's greatest guitarists to John Mayall. Clapton, Beck, Fleetwood, etc. They all started with the Bluesbreakers.
Man! Thinkin' about that really took me back.

Rolf is the vocalist and bass player , I play guitar and various drummers , we recorded everything at my home studio ( small semi pro one ) we mixed most of the first album and had a guy Rich Mouser ( incubus etc. ) mix 5 of the songs.

Haha cheers to that. I play guitar and bass and did vocals in a band when I was younger. I quit the band but my friends ended up making a band out of it and creating a couple of cd's. It's hard work. It's not for everyone. But being able to share your music with other people is a great joy.
As my 1st VV and the cool form factor, my excitement level is at 11. ('cause it's 1 more than 10 and it's louder)
