I'm a simple guy. I miss these. YouTube - Cartoons of the 1960s
I was a 70's kid but I grew up with the 60's toons (I often think I was born in the wrong decade). I watched most of those toons as kid and still enjoy them from time to time. Scooby Doo was one of my favorites, Tom & Jerry a close second. I even named my dog Scooby, which is hilarious (to me) because he's a yorkie.

Dear MOdrOd,
Do you participate in Japanese martial art swordsmanship as your reference to Miyamoto Musashi may suggest?
RC
I wish. There aren't any schools around here or I would. I do however collect swords and I'm a fan of Musashi and his writings, ie. The Book of Five Rings.

Cartoon Network has recently put Looney Tunes back on the air. It comes on at 6am and 12pm est. Yes, I watch it. lol

Tennessee Ernie Ford, oh hell yeah!

That is the exact song I think of when I think of Tennessee Ernie Ford. Must have heard him sing that song 100 times.

I must of used this verse that many times growing up trying to impress somebody.

If you see me comin', better step aside
A lotta men didn't, a lotta men died
One fist of iron, the other of steel
If the right one don't a-get you
Then the left one will

I went up the street with my parents and we used to watch this new tv thing in shop windows with half the neighborhood, no sound, just the fascination of seeing this stuff. Now I just last week bought a LED TV and in some way can link it with my computer which were not even invented in those days.
I cannot even look at the back of it with all those plugs without getting anxious.
I can see all the possibilities but cannot work it out.
I wish I had a friend that could help, but I don't seem to have any friends these days. I used to be able to work all this stuff out, but it just seems to get harder every month.
I at least can watch TV, I would like to do more but it is all too hard.
I used to work out all the problems at work with the computer problems ( i am self taught) but now I have not a clue, things are progressing so fast.

It's going to get worse too with Quantum physics and negative energy. It's too cool though. I watched a future meds show where the doc uses a holograph of your body and can take a part of it and blow it up to a size large enough to see the cell damage. Then he fixes the cells that are damaged and whatever cells he fixes in the holograph the computer fixes in your body. It's supposed to be operating in the future.

I saw something like that to. Quantum Physics and Negative Energy interest me as well.
