Ok I won a deal on a Saber touch. I think I know what I am doing. But thats when I screw up, when I think I know what I'm doing.

The two choices I have are.

3.7v / 6v (uses 1- 18650 3.7v battery or 2- rcr123a 3v batteries)

Or

5v Regulated (uses 2- 16340 3.6v batteries) The regulator gives a steady 5v of vaping power.

I am thinking that the 5v sounds cool but is a little higher maintenance in regard to juice, atty's ect. The first choice sounds like a better idea for a daily use with a LR Atty and I can power up with a HR atty once and a while when I want.

Is my logic sound? Feel free to be blunt. I would rather be smart then right.

Personally I would say get the 3.7/6 so you have the option of going back to 3.7 if you have issues with the HV part. I'm getting a chuck for just that reason, so I can play with the HV seeing as it get get 6/7.4v but I can go back to 3.7 if I travel with it so there's no worry about having to make sure carts are always topped off so i don't blow an atty. Just my $.02 there.

It should be a TRUE 3.7v rather than the slightly less 3.1 or 3.2v a JOYE 510 puts out right? So your logic seems sound to me too - you can use the LR or HR atty - whichever one it is lol - to get the 'faux 5v experience' without committing to the 5v and have the 6v as optional backup already built in if you fancy a go on that.
5v is nice but some of my juices don't like 5v and prefer the lower one, which is why *I* have 2 PT of different voltages.
Go with your gut - sounds good to me.
Grats on the saber btw - looks like a nice bit of kit.
