RBA for Mini v1 worth it?

As the title suggests I'm curious as to the Reonauts' opinions. The Reomizer does not fit, and it seems the only one available is the Hornet. I'm not opposed to spending $80 on an rba if it's worth it. I guess my main concern would be spending the $$ then being dissatisfied and end up buying a new mod plus yet another rba.

Thanks in advance!

I have minis that take the 14500 battery and have the small catchcup and use hornets on them. I use them every day. Love how much better RBAs are. :) I also have a Reomizer 2 for my VVGrand. The Reomizers are easier to work with than the hornets. If I were in your shoes, I'd get the Reomizer 2 and have Rob make it fit as he offered. :)

Hornet tasted glorious on my mini, but was a pain to set up. I went through 5-6 wick/coil configurations until I was relatively happy with it.

A7 mini fits the Mini. I'v now switched to side airhole RBAs, but there will always be a spot in my heart for the A7

Killer 705 will fit, but costs about same as Hornet

Mc Arb fits, I believe, but I know next to nothing about it.

Reomizer 2.0... It's a great atomizer. Really. And Rob can make it fit the mini. My only concern about it is that the atomizer itself is wider than the mod, and would look silly in my opinion.

I have a mini V1 and just tried the RM2 on it. It isn't wider than the mini, it's the same width as the raised housing that holds the catch cup. I'd definitely take Rob up on his offer to make you one to fit the mini. I can't imagine it being anything less than a superb vape. To me, it looks just fine on the V1.

Wow, thank you very much for the quick and helpful responses. I think I'm sold on the modified Reomizer 2.0 since it's not wider than my Mini. I've been building wicks and coils for my other RBA's (Gennies') and am really happy with the results, so I'm pretty psyched to get my order in.

Since I have your attention: Whoever is running a Reomizer 2.0 with a 14500, how is the battery life?

Thanks again.

I can't imagine it being different than any other atomizer -- it depends on the resistance. Advantage of RM2 is that it allows you all kinds of different coil setups. If you run a 0.8 ohm genesis style wick, your battery life will be pitiful. If you use one of SuperDrifter's high resistance microcoils (high is a relative term, about 2 ohm), your battery life will be very decent.

With my vaping pace of 4ml/day, with a 1.7 ohm coil, I went through 3 recharges per day

Yeah, I should have given more information before asking that question...sorry. Thankfully, you answered my question though. I plan on building around the 1.8 mark for day to day, so your reply was perfect. And, although I don't intend to vape there regularly, I do want to build an .8 coil just to see what all the hype is about.

Two 14250 batteries. Great vape but very short battery life... only 200 mah. (You can't charge the batteries on a 3.7 charger, has to be a 3 volt charger.

Since the batteries are so small it's really not a big deal carrying around an extra set or two... the vape is worth it.

Short life short life that's all I ever hear:p I carry 4 xtra sets so it's no big deal to switch them and rarely go through more than 2sets during the day although I don't often :D

Jack wasn't being rude, Jack simply knew that Titan was intelligent enough to figure out where to purchase his batteries. On the other hand I had to tell you where to buy the batteries and point out that you needed a different charger. (The experience was pretty much like raising a four-year old... I take that back, that's an insult to all four-year olds.)

Titan, don't listen to Pietro, he'll lead you astray... just listen to non-flatlanders.

You can thank me later.

Jack
