I just started a thread about the same thing... check it out here... http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/rebuildable-atomizer-systems/595386-rta-closest-rda-experience.html

After a lot of research and talking with people on 4 different vaper forums i decided to go with the new Pontus atty. It's basically the Tobh atty deck with a 3.5mL quartz glass tank on top and you push down the drip tip to drip juice out the bottom of the tank/top of the atty top cap into your wick/coils. Dripping on the go made easy... all the airflow you want and just like using a Tobh (well with 4 small cyclops airholes instead of the 6 tiny circles on the Tobh).

Before i decided on the Pontus i was sold on picking up a "high end genny" like the Sat22, Nahualon, or in'ax. I'll still likely pick one of those up (or a clone) in the future but for now i'm set on my super airy RDA draw.

The Nahualon is nice, I very much like the method used to trap the negative lead. That said I'm not a fan of its markings (I really like the top cap reduced chamber design and air hole(s) that's innovative if not super useful) The In'ax is unique, maybe a bit more so than I feel comfortable with.

If the genesis modders would start taking cues from the dripper and clearomizer/vacuum feed modders and get in on the adjustable airflow control it would be nice.

Exactly! For the life of me i just don't get why these $300.00 atomizers do not have adjustable air flow! Like c'mon guys... everyone has such different draw preference, lung size, etc. give everyone the option. If any of you modders are reading this and need some 3D design help with putting in adjustable airflow come talk to me and i'll send you a SolidWorks file in 10 minutes lol.

The Sat22 and Nahualon would be instant buys for me if they were adjustable. As they are now, i'm worried they're far too narrow... but i could always buy a clone and drill them out to see what they're like more open.

Hey thanks for the link to your post! A lot of good info! I had done a search before starting this one, but came up with nothing.

Yeah searches never turn up crap for me here lol. No prob! Def check out the Pontus and Big Dripper if you're a hardcore RDA guy like me. Very interesting.

I googled the Pontus and it definitely looks worth giving it a shot! Spent to much this week so maybe next paycheck I'll pick it up and give it a go!

There is plenty of room for innovation in AFC on the Genesis atomizer, that much is certain. As you point out, many many people would jump on buying them if adjustability were improved in the airflow department.

@jaxgator
RSST with AFC? I have a pretty expansive set of drills as well, but I think we are looking for adjustable in such a way that does not require modification to the atomizer parts. If there is an AFC version of the RSST I'd like to see it just out of pure curiosity.

Edit: found Smok RSST Dual Coil Pyrex w/ AFC, unfortunately you can't run it in single coil mode and close off the second air intake can you?

I'd certainly prefer a design similar to the Stillare that can run single or dual coils and fully adjust airflow.
