All over the place
New magma looks pretty meh compared to the snapdragon. Speaking of, I just rebuilt my origen with my go to build to compare it to the snapdragon. I can't believe I'm saying this but the snapdragon has noticeably better flavor. It took three builds to get here but I don't think I will ever try another build on it again; dual 24g N60 9/10 wrap around a 2mm screwdriver forever on this thing.

Wow. That's a HUGE comment!

I know! Now I need to run through a bunch of different juices to see if the snapdragon is better with all the juices I use regularly. So far on pure fruit flavors it's noticeably better. After a few days of disappointment with it I never thought I would end up liking it this much.

i actually didn't go for the snapdragon to get the magma, seems to me that its harder to clip the coils in the snapdragon, plus the number of pieces when disassembled aside from the pricing here in the Philippines =p

Yeah, I have no doubts that the new magma will be easier to build than the snapdragon. I just love how the airflow works on it. All three of the holes merge into one 2mm (?) airhole causing the air to be funneled directly at the coil.

if the budget would allow me to get a snapdragon i might get one also and compare it to the new magma...

how's your ax1 @kformeck compared to snapdragon flavor wise??

Right now, the snapdragon has better flavor, but I've only done two builds on the AX1 too so that could change. It was a lot easier to get a good build in the the AX1 so I've been focusing on the snapdragon lately. Since I've been vaping the origen all day I'd still say the AX1 has outstanding flavor but not quite as good as the origen or snapdragon. The AX1 is a lot nicer to build on than the snapdragon but the machining is on par with both attys too. I'll post more info as play around with these attys more.

And with the raised air flow off the deck they theoretically have damned up the leakage which is why mine is collecting dust in the $120 atty graveyard[emoji58]
That compact domed Magma screw down top cap creates the massive warm wet juicey Magma flavor. Hard to beat it.
What's pricing on the v2?

I forgot to post this the other day for all of you AX1 owners that want to use your own drip tips.

Are the snap dragon posts centered or on one end not allowing duals?
The posts are places similar to the magma but what makes it such a pain to build dual coils on is the clamps; instead of having holes you insert your wire into you have slots in the posts and the screws work like clamps. It's a pain to get both leads trapped securely under it; I tried to do a dual 22g build the other night but gave up and went back to 24g.

Can someone explain this coil to me? I made one as a test tun, but I didn't install it in any deck. Just curious what are the benefits. Does each one vape like three smaller coils?

I built one the other night. So far I like it better than my first build on it. I think it's because it spans all 8 airholes as where my first build i used the proper lead holes which caused the outer two airholes to be slightly uncovered.

More surface area, but more breaks in the coil so less heat concentration on the very center of a long coil. Plus making it all one continuous coil increases resistance, rather than dropping it. I agree that it would definitely utilize all the airflow available on that atty.

It's a great theory. I may have to give it a try soon. My sorry Velocity has been sitting and waiting for a new build for forever lol.

Narda Mention Spotted

I saw some chatter on Chowderhead's page about him doing a run of the Nardas. Not being on FB I can't seem to find anything else about it.
Nar Mods has sold some to retailers. No mention of which retailers or when they will be up for sale. They are also "considering another list and more open distribution." The list probably doesn't help if you're anti-FB (I pretty much use my FB for exactly these types of things but to each their own) but more open distro would be nice.
