Wow hahaha lol. Yeah I could see that happening. I like how the whole rda fits together, the tolerances are really nice and the best part it doesn't leak. Like the Derringer suffered from leaky airholes, I couldn't stand that and this doesn't have that problem. I hated the price and personally think it coulda been cheaper for what it is but I'm not upset about it either.

I struggled with the price initially but then I bought one & I was a believer. #Stumpy FTW!

Got mine in yesterday too and I love it! Built up in under 10 mins, one of the easiest rda's I've built in a while. That's why I love the 2 post rda's. I thought I'd never say this about one of his products but almost every rda I have is literally blowing the Drifter clean out of the water, not a fan of that thing at all.

Whoa! Congrats, bud. So happy you finally got it and that I could hep your decision making by getting the Thump first. But, if you want to trade . . . :sneaky:

Sure, I'll trade, just not the stumpy lmao! So far so good, I like it a lot more then I did my derringer. Whyd you get rid of yours again?!

Picked up a Subzero locally yesterday for 50 bucks - couldn't resist.

I'm loving it. Was worried about leakage as I have not had good luck with bottom air flow, and I did get a lot of juice coming out of the air holes on my first drip, but now that I have the hang of it, well, it is fantastic. What a great performer, and very well made. I saw a review where the dude gave it a negative because the airflow adjustment turned too easily, but really not an issue for me as I don't see how you could inadvertently "bump" it out of your prefered position. Maybe if you pocket it, but I don't

I'm running a simple dual 24ga 3mm 7-wrap and its been great on my series regulated BJ box. Bonus is that any standard 22mm chuff cap will fit it:

Is that the 24mm? From VSC??

Money. At the time, I just needed the money and I THOUGHT I'd be able to easily replace that atty. Yep. Nope.

You can replace it, for another 120$ lol which I'd be hesitant to do again since no it isn't cheap, but if you did love it then I'd do it again. Now that you mention it I forgot I did ask you why you got rid of it, but my memory is fading fast, ha.

Yep. It's just that it's hard to pay that money again when there's new stuff I'd like to check out. It won't hurt me now to spend it, but half of the driving force to buy an atty is typically being eager to find out if it's great. I only have half of the driving force to buy it now, and that half is that I KNOW it's a great little unit. But I can't lie, I do love the mystery of a new atty tho. That is generally the half that drives my purchases.

Mine was super tight, so Andrea told me to either use one red o-ring or one black. I am currently using one black o-ring (bottom) and it's much easier to take off, but now I have a harder time unscrewing the atty from the mod unless I take off the top cap. It's a trade-off, but one that was easy to make.

Where do you rank it as compared to the New Gen Post RDA's, Velocity, Narda, AX1,etc? Tough to rank for me. Not really a Competition Cloud chaser, but not a pure flavor chaser either, but it's damn good at both and machined like no other.

What build do you all find works best with your NoPity? Got to throw several builds at it and can't seem to get decent flavor. Vapor is nice and dense but just isn't coming close to good on flavor.

Tried:
Dual 26g 2.5m coils
Dual 24g 2.5m coils
Dual 26g 3.0m coils
Dual 24g 3.0m coils
Single 24g 4.0m coil centered

The only thing I have not done is mess with the height of the coil(s). Basically been putting them straight off the posts (not pushed up or down).

I am too haphazard to ever even remember the specs of the builds I do (most of the time, at least), but I can tell you that my coils always sit pushed down right over the coils. I mean, they are close! My ID of the coil is so small that it doesn't obstruct the airflow being pushed down like that.

Slapped in two 24g x 2.5mm coils and pushed them all the way down and it is better. Time to tinker with it to see if I can get it close to a Hobo 3.1 in flavor.

Really like the looks of this atty and it's make out of 316L SS ;)

Hey guys so I put a few different builds in the drifter and I am getting a decent vapes ....I mean its good I'm just not getting a "wow that's good" feeling in any one area. Vapor production I know its build dependant but it has been mediocre in that respect I mean it can handle builds a bit lower and hotter then my 3.1 but not crazily so. Flavor is good(after experimenting with a few builds I was able to figure out that coil placement is KEY to getting this thing to perform) finally settled on some Clapton coils sitting slightly elevated above the side airflow just high enough to hit the lower half of the coil directly. I really want to love this thing but can't help but feel I'm not doing it right or something ..... Back to the drawing board

I'm getting close with mine in regards to flavor but I'm not sure it will beat the Hobo for the simple fact that it's a larger chamber size. After about seven builds this last one with 2.5mm spaced 26awg SS coils a little lower than sticking straight out from the posts is working the best for me so far. I think the key is the height over the air intakes.

@Sed8op8 Go pick up the Dripbox since you like to build & do a .3 build in the Hobo or ChiNarda clone since a BF pin is available from Narmods. Best bang for the buck squonker that I've ever seen.

Chowder aka Catfish (Tom) converted mine to bottom fed with a huge squonk pin. Typical magic from Tom, he'll do a send in when he has time.

Yep, mine is a clone. Roscoe did a run of the clones bottom fed but I don't see why the real pin wouldn't fit the clone, it looks the same to me. I may order another & try my pin from Narmods as well. If nothing else we know the pin fits the Hobo 3.1 which is becoming my favorite atty.
