After doing the big rda atomizers like Stillaire--Dark Horse--Derringer-Plume Veil--and a few more---I was getting kind of bored with the dripping thing until I discovered

this tiny little thing called the smok Dripper RDA------I put dual coils 32 awg-------1.25 ohms and cotton wicks and can't believe the flavor and vapor.

I am fascinated with these little decks----and am searching for all the 14 mm decks available---this is all old school---but I started out dripping with a Stillaire and then went

to the other 3 and 4 post models ---and just discovered the fun and novelty idea with these little things.

My new royal hunter came in the mail today. Any suggestions for builds on it? I put dual 24g 8 wraps each and it came to .4 ohm. Running it at 45 watts it overheats quick. The vp sucks. Flavor is ok. Did I use too much wicking maybe? How much wicking does rh need? This is one of my first dual coils. Maybe I should've just went with single first...

Have you looked at any of the Hellfire drippers? Supposedly excellent flavor and they have some 14mm ones. Only problem is they are expensive and hard to find.

I mean other than being smaller, The Vortice doesn't seem much different from the Aromamizer. And that's only $40.

So I needed to say that this thing is like the Aromamizer, sorta, but it's at least 2x as good. I am really liking it. I do think the air does this kind of swirling action. It's weird because with a consistent draw (checking the draw without actually vaping), it hits the roof of the mouth before hitting the bottom. It's barely noticeable and during the vape it doesn't feel like much, but the flavor is really solid. Certain liquids shine in this one more than others though. Happy with my purchase. It's also built really well.

Edit: wow. Just watched Rip's video and I swear I used some of the same language as he did but I had no idea of what he said. Ha! Anyway, I just found out that the barrel is threaded on, so it does come off. Nice.

Square tugboat cap does not fit on the Phenotype base, nor on the stumpy base. Not a big deal though. I hate to say it but The Kennedy 24 is currently my favorite RDA. The flavor is not as good as the Stumpy but **** it's close and it's just so beefy, looks damn good and unless I drip down the air holes or overflow the deck it doesn't leak. Still though the Stumpy is right there in my favorites, won't be seeing longer than a day or so shelf time for a while.

The A6 is my favorite itty-bitty. The air needs to be drilled for a reasonable draw. I run duals around .3-.4 ohms, drilled at 2mm-2.4mm. This one from fasttech comes drilled as a single coil, but has three posts (I know the pic has two, but trust me it will show up with three); so, you can drill it for dual coils: $5.76 A6 Mini Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

No I have not looked at the Hell Fire Drippers yet but will google them------thanks for the tip.--------probably if they are out there then china has a cheap model/clone

No, hellfire clones out there. The production runs are just too small to make it on the radar.

So, general consensus. Velocity is better for clouds vs flavor? It's all over fb and ig, everyone seems to be sporting one.
Basically, people really want them too. I listed mine on CL for $50 and the guy was so happy to get an authentic he paid $100 for it. I don't understand the hype, tried all sorts of builds in it and couldn't get anything but meh. Now the Kennedy 24 I don't see why there isn't more hype for. This atty has blown my mind and far exceeded my expectations in ever aspect.

Why didn't the square cap fit? Too short?

I heard the Kennedy 24 just blows huge clouds and has bad flavor and some say it leaks. I don't own one so I can't say for sure. Have you not had those issues?

I'm thinking the 24mm diameter has quite a bit to do with it for starters. Second would be the Kennedy isn't really thought of as a flavor atty. Just my opinion though.....

I'm getting pretty damn good flavor with it, the Kennedy 24 is the newest model with the new deck design. Basically for the bottom airflow there's pipes in the deck so unless you fill the juicewell up to there or drip directly into them it doesn't leak.

I have to ask you how is the top air flow situated? I was wondering if the air flow goes straight through the cap down in the four corners or are they routed to the center or at least two of them facing towards eachother where they will hit your coil?

I love seeing this here. It brings it all home for me considering in spite of all the muscle gear, there's nothing quite like riding a bike.

There's one in each corner and they're kinda routed down facing the coils.
