Omg. It looks STUNNING. Whaaaaaat, $60! Ordering. WHY. WHY!!!! METAL DRIPTIP. I was going to order it, figured I GUESS I will read the specs. Going to think on this but wow thats a stunning dripper

You see though, the solid-state tip accepts friction-fits. GG used a dotmod tip on his and it looked super sweet (and flush, from what I can tell). Never tired a quad though, that resistance would just be too low for me.

I hope they keep making 22s (they will) for my mechs! You should try the Royal Hunter. You may like the Velocity if your a cloud/airflow first guy.

Nah I like flavor, I don't care how big the clouds are just the density, so much flavor in dense clouds thats why I like to vape at higher wattage, it's crazy good. Vape budget is already blown for this month though bought a $300 mech/atty combo and spent 150 bucks on juice sooooo probably not gonna buy anything else this month...hopefully lol

From all that I know of what is on the market, it's in the top 5 atties for awesomeness and the price. Honestly, that price for that unit is mind blowing. It could so easily be $100 (or more). And as far as it being a cloud atty, I mean, yeah it will definitely chuck (don't get that twisted!), but it's up to you and how you build it. Its not like a Mutation x where you almost have to use Claptons to taste something. You can go straight up kanthal, regular coils and have a stellar vape.

You can see the airflow, it's actually pretty modest by today's standards.

Looks neat, I hate those integrated drip tips though, I spent $25 for my dotmod drip tips, I want to use them darnit! lol Is there a way to close off the other 2 airholes when running duals?

Me too. But I hate it more when I can't do anything about it. At least that one will accept a friction tip and not look goofy. Yes, you can go down to close off to just two or even one--and you can and even close that off more. Quad-, dual- and single-coil ready (or even PhD work).

@TorontoOntario My coils on this thing are regular, run-of-the-mill horizontal, dual coils. Nothing to write home about or brag about (though they taste great!) but here's what I mean when I say this thing is ready for PhD work:

I mean, seriously! How awesome that you can go simple or wild. But you would absolutely have to get an extension on the tip for that.

Sorry, I should've been more clear in my post about the Dinghy - I was responding to Toronto who said he could get it for $40. I haven't seen the Dinghy cheaper than $65 online. @inspects - Hope you enjoy, I am. Good, dense vapor with plenty of flavor.

I only like simple builds. Could I learn to build Claptons and the like? I'm sure I could but as a wise person once said "ain't nobody got time for that." Kudos to those of you like Blue, Toronto and Mr.Mann who do so but I'd rather take a couple of minutes a do a simple dual coil build and get on with my vaping. I'll probably try some of that pre-made Youde Clapton wire just for giggles. I use their twisted wire and it works well for me.

Man, I'm itching for a Petri so bad. That and the SOD 5K. That's the only two I'm really jonesing to buy and I think I'll be good. Until the new Derringer comes out and if Flawless releases a new Tugboat.

Is there any info or pictures of the new derringer? I hear a lot of people talking about it but have seen next to nothing on it. How do you guys know praixs is even doing a new derringer? For all we know the thump is the new derringer.

Man, I got no time to build Claptons! LOL. But I do have time to wrap them around a drill bit! hhahaha. I will build them one day, but not until after I get done with a few things in my near future. This is like an $8 roll here. You wrap lota Clapton, long time.

Chowderhead said that he consulted with Praxis on the new Derringer. Last time I asked (which has been at least a month - month and a half) he said Praxis told him it would be released in two to three months. Also, the new Derringer will be released in two versions - bottom fed and non-bottom fed. But, yeah, haven't read anything official about it. I doubt the Thump is the new Derringer since it was a collaboration. The Derringer is Praxis' baby. I'd imagine will see something during ECC.

Once you learn how to make a Clapton, it's really easy. The learning curve is there, but a few weeks ago i was struggling with 32ga over 24ga, and now I use 38ga over parallel 26ga, and it only takes me about 3 min longer to do than wrapping a standard coil.

I was building a quick 24/36 clapton last night to throw in my mini haze clone, and found a little atty baggie that came with my velocity clone. It had a bottom feed pin in it. Not that I'm looking forward to using the velocity for squonking, but once all my parts arrive and my box is complete, at least I have something i can use without modifying :)

All these fancy coils out now and here I am still wrapping regular macros and such lol. I think I attempted a Clapton once, and once I saw how far I got I said screw that! Haha. I've been building for a while now, like years and I see why people do what they do, but to me I just wanna build, vape, and go. Some of these builds are just ridiculous though, the super alien tractor parallel guitar string grenade barbed coil.....come on.

I started following the fancy builds because I got "bored" building regular coils. I'm a tinkerer, so if I can do something to keep my attention span long enough, I will try it. After a while I was only doing "fancy" builds. Last week I went back to some basic coils, and while they're easy to do, for some reason it just wasn't a satisfying vape for me. The standard 24ga space nichrome in my derringer I threw in a few days ago only lasted that few days before I ripped it out. Maybe I just get bored too easily lol.

I can respect that and I wasn't downing it I just think most people that do those super over the top premium builds aren't even vaping them. I mean most of them you can clearly see barely fit in the atty it's built on, let alone having the top cap put onto it. I get bored with my builds too but the most extreme I get with building is either lower gauge wire, a different diameter tool to wrap around, or instead of each wrap touching I space them lol now that's my "extreme". Yeah I know I'm hardcore you don't have to tell me.

Pretty friggin' hardcore bruh lol. To each their own, I didn't think you were downing them. I'd rather spend 45min trying to build a coil I won't daily vape, than spend $1500 on suspension parts and 8 hours installing on one of my cars. I feel this is a much easier/cheaper hobby to wrap my brain around that still keeps me grounded in reality and out of debt (for the most part if you stop liking so many new atties lol).

Haha don't get me started on car stuff. Between vape gear and wanting new car parts my wife wants to kill me! Sometimes I don't know which to get, but lately my ride has been neglected in favor of vape stuff.
