Yes, I've been eyeballing the Snapdragon. The price is a bit ridiculous though - @$160 shipped

Thats crazy. The post holes on the Origen wont let you do CRAZY exotic builds BUT I am SURE you could get two regular claptons in there as long as you dont go to nuts with the gauges. Im going to break it down in a half hour or so and see if I can put some 24/36 regular claptons in it although its not even really needed. These macros give insanse flavor, I am HYPE over this one boys and cant no one impress me hahaha.

Damn! Sounds like I'm missing out then! Everything you said sounds just like me, flavor over clouds and builds all the way. I mean I didnt really get into vaping to blow huge clouds anyway, there just a bonus, I want that flavor. I hate this thread! Lol Now I need to go on the prowl and check one out.

Agree heiSINberg.

I don't give a hoot about clouds. All I want is a satisfactory vape and the best flavor I can get.

Origen 3. Day off today so I went downtown and grabbed it. Its AMAZING!!!! Flavor is OUT OF THIS WORLD! This thing rivals if not inches just ahead of the Stumpy and blows the Marquis out of the water. Quality, best draw EVER at wide open, it looks STUNNING, easy to build, holds but loads of juice and did I mention THE FLAVOR! If your a flavor junkie and do NOT own one of these YOU ARE MISSING OUT! I dont know why I have never had one before, its just sooo good. If you like crazy exotic builds, huge airflow and intense clouds it isnt for you. If your like me and hate an attie REQUIRING an insane build just to get half way decent flavor, prefer a tighterish draw (still, airy lung hits all day) and love a quality piece this is for you. I am simply amazed at this dripper.

Looks like a man with some work of Norbert! You just can't really convey that quality to anyone until they have one. You did a great job, but that atty has to be held and vaped to understand!

Oh, and congrats. I think you see why my chase has been so futile. LOL

Oh and Toronto - I already wanted an Origen V3 bad enough, now you've made me want it more. I also want to try gennys so I'm thinking about the Origen Genesis V2 MKII or Rocket R.

What y'all said! You guys had me hunting for one after the discussion the other day. At least it took my mind off the Petri!

(Thread's gonna be the death of me!)

I still love my Petri and want another one just for Ti and ni200 HOWEVER this Origen3 is going to get a lot of use.
Last thing about my new attie lol! I ended up putting dual vertical claptons in the Origen (26n80/36gn80) and its fantastic. .19 on my mech, its probally the best vape I have ever had. With a fresh VTC4 it starts off a bit hot then quickly the voltage drops smooths it out to a perfect, perfect vape until I swap the battery.

Yea, Mr Mann...soooo happy! You boys who like a more restricted draw along the lines of a bit tighter then the Petri at wide open and love flavor are really missing out! If any attie warrants a plus $100 price tag its this one. The quality like Mr Mann said is hard to fully understand till you handle it, build on it and then vape it but its just really unreal. Im SOOOO hard to please and never gush like this, in fact its usually the opposite so you know I dont just say everythings the best.

Okay, @TorontoOntario

The only atty left (in this vein) that I would recommend you try is the 454 Big Block v2. And since you have the Petri press-fit tip, you should be able to get past that irksome solid-state tip. I don't know or suspect you will like it as much as the Origen v3, but I do think they are of the same family. Hey, at least it's not but half the price of the Origen and it sure is hell better than buying a whole slew of atties that cost more or have "comp caps" that are just a few bones shy of the whole dadgum 454 Big Block v2, brand new! So keep this one too on your radar and enjoy that Norbert masterpiece. It doesn't get much better, if even close, to that one you got!

I can't wait to get your thoughts on it. It's still a sleeper atty and by far one of the best for the price. The neg ring may be a bit tricky at first, but remember you don't have to use it. But if you do use it know it is a HELLUVA solid connection!!!!!!!!!!!
Dude.... this thing frickin' rocks... It didn't take too awfully long to BF it, but after about an hour I got it up and running. I put in a set of 26g Ni80 7 wrap 2.5mm coils @ .25Ω w/ 3mm RxW. I thought it would be a very hot vape with only 2 holes opened all the way, but I've been chain vaping for a couple hours now and the top cap still hasn't really gotten that warm. I thought I was gonna have to use a drip tip with it, but so far its ok without one. I may give it a try with all 4 air holes open at some point, but for now I'm not seeing any need for it. The flavor is jumping and I'm very surprised by the clouds it's putting out. I would say it is very comparable to the Hastur's I have been using lately and almost as flavorful as my Nuppin's. I'm guessing when the RxW breaks in fully it will be very close to both.... Definitely worth the $70 I spent. Thanks for the recommendation Mr. Mann....

Mr Mann, I want the 454 2, GG review made me wary though and also the ring thing, is it hard to build? I would like to grab one..just nervous haha. I have some dotmod tips lol.
I watched that GG review and the only thing he got right was it was a great vape... So far the top cap has yet to heat up to where I need a drip tip and it really wasn't that hard to build... To me the draw on it with 2 holes open is right in my wheel house. Full of flavor and chucking some pretty good clouds to boot... Very solid in my book...

You don't have to use the ring though. You can just trap around the screws (not much different from the big O).

If wanting to use the ring, it can be frustrating, but it can also be fun. You don't have to do it though. If only doing a dual coil, I promise that if I can do it, you can too (but I moved to trapping primarily under the screws for doing horizontal builds). But no push, just keep it in your back pocket until that one night when you just say what the hell! because you hit a streak of duds and you want to revisit an old idea.

Just saw this (hadn't refreshed the page) Nice. I think I can retire now. LOL. Between you with the 454 and TO with the Origen, may as well leave on a good note.

Yeah, my list has grown again. Origen V3, Petri, SOD 5K, Snapdragon. My Tugs and Dinghy have the airier draw/great flavor side covered, I don't think I'm gonna be in the market for anything like that. Further renditions of those two attys will be bought immediately by me. Well, the Derringer V2 as well if it actually gets released. I'm now looking more toward the tighter, intense flavor attys. The vapor I get out of my Tugs and Dinghy is about all I need. If I really want some clouds, I can bust out the Kennedy or my MutXs but that's rare.

Please stop tempting me with attys!

I didnt know there were any screws, its not really about how hard building it is was just worried that would not give a good connection. Theres just two atties I want to get, one more Petri for ni200/ti and then a cerakoted tug (sold my SS for this reason) then I will thin the heard a bit and order a v2 454. I have been reading on it for a while and it really does sound like a great attie, looks amazing to! Theres nothing else really after that CURRENTLY that I am super intrested in. Hopefully we see some more nice flavor atties released this year boys!

Muzichead, do you know how big each airhole is on the 454 2? I would like to use it for dual coils so natrually I would only want the two holes where my coils are open. I like a little bit of a restricted pull and those airholes dont look giant so I think I would like it. If you know the size of the airholes though do tell OR if you have a few atties you can compare the draw to with two holes wide I would appreciate it.

Have you looked at the Rogue?

That is my favorite atty to date.

I have used the Magma, Veritas, Freakshow Mini, N22, and one or two others.

The little Rogue is a tiny atty ( not as short as the Derringer, Bambino, or the new short mako.

The Rogue has top airflow. Not counting the 510 pin or drip tip (mine came without a drip tip ) this atty is only 18 mm high actually shorter than the FS Mini.

I am rocking it with a 2 mm horizontal coil with 8 wraps of 28 gauge Kanthal and running at .93 ohms. Yes a single coil. I am about to close off the other airflow.

I like the little Rogue so much I went back and bought two more of them.

Next time I install a coil I am going to make a vertical coil with cotton on the outside and the inside coil open and directly under the airflow.

I have one, actually, but the one I bought was modified for bottom feed when I thought I wanted to squonk. Quickly learned that I don't want to squonk so it's just been sitting on the shelf. I only had one build in it (don't even remember what it was) but it seemed good.

I thought the Rogue was a decent little attie. Never owned one but my sister in law is a big fan like you, I think shes got three to haha.

Before the Rogue I thought the FS MINI was the cats meow.

My FS MINI started leaking like crazy so I saw the Wotofo Sapor. I started looking for reviews of other atty's with top airflow and stumbled across the Rogue. Most of the reviewers was not impressed with it but I took a chance.

No leaks and in my opinion gives a better flavor than any of the atty's I have tried. So I bought two spares. The flavor of the Magma and Rogue are very similar but better airflow and a cooler vape. After a few hits the vape gets pretty warm from the Magma. Even the drip tip of the Magma gets hot.

To complete my Rogue I only need three Delrin drip tips. Never had my drip tip get too hot on the Rogue.

Would you share your experiences with squonking? I thought about going bottom feed but hadn't made my mind. A little advice may help prevent me from making a decision I will regret later.

I'm actually enjoying the heck out of this Baal V2, it's kind of funny. I didn't think I would like it because of the big chuff cap but I wanted an Incubus mod and the mod itself was 270, the Baal V2 was 80 but to order the matching set was 300 so it was a no brainer to order the set. The chuff cap has this antispitback that works really well, it has big holes so plenty of airflow and you can drip right through it, i'll see if I can add a pic of it but the most surprising thing is theres no spit back at all, even if you flood it (Apparently i've gotten to used to just dumping dripperfulls into the aeolus) you still don't get spit back and the airflow is awesome there are 6 holes in a triangular shaped pattern, I think it's similar to the mutation just twist the top cap to adjust and with the compressed chamber you can go from flavor to clouds with a little twist and it's pretty damned good at both. Really versatile atty, I'm impressed. It also comes with a 510 topcap that I haven't tried yet I might make a review for it if I have the time in the next couple days. The styling might not be everyones cup of tea but I dig it.

Edit: put some pics of the spit back and airflow in the next post couldn't figure out how to add them to this one, sorry for potato quality just snapped them real quick lol
