Ugh!!! I'm so tempted to use that damn code. They have so much on that site that I want. Especially that dos equis box mod. With the code it's only 180$ that is a steal!! Down from 225$ only problem they sold out of the actual one I want so I'd have to settle for the graphite coated copper and I see and hear the black comes off to expose the copper, not sure I want a copper smelling box.....

Man! I wanted a Dos Equis for awhile but never got one then El Diablo came out with this and made me glad I didn't lol, it's so freakin cool:

The batteries load into a magazine that has a quick release, hit the button and it ejects the magazine swap your batteries and stick it back in like a magazine on a gun. It's not a silly looking mod IMO though like that gripper mod or anything, I think it would be hard to actually confuse it for a gun or anything, I love it.

Yes!! My local vape shop just got those in yesterday when I was there, they are quality pieces. And it's so small, I just can't get with the price though, they wanted 280$ I instantly handed it back to them. That's a LOT of money, but on the other hand it's extremely well done IMO. Is that one yours??

Fully understandable, I was coming from rayon so to me I love VCC and now I like the cotton bacon v2 as well so I'll probly stick to them two for now. I forget where I saw it, which site, but they had the little jar of vcc for 8$ and that's the cheapest I've ever seen it anywhere. Back when I got mine they were selling straight from the manufacturer or VCC themselves and it was almost like the more you ordered the cheaper it was. But now I don't think they sell straight up anymore.

Yea, one of the sites was selling the bacon v2 for $3 a bag if you bought 4 or more they were sold out though of course.. This vcc is going to have to be really impressive to be the same price as 4 bags of bacon lol

Yep that one's mine, I got it for 300 shipped with the BAAL V2 RDA as a set, they shipped priority too, I've been talking with the guy through email since I got it, had a stripped screw and the guy is taking one of the others he had apart to send me the replacement screw and said he will wait until El Diablo sends him the replacements to repair his so that I don't have to wait. Seems like a really good guy. The RDA is actually really nice as well, I wouldn't have ordered it except for the extra 30 bucks was a no brainer but i'm glad I did because it's perfect for the mod and it's actually a really nice RDA. I was thinking it would be more of a cloud chaser from the looks of it but it's actually got really good flavor.

Im liking the bacon A LOT as well. I gave two jars of VCC away just yesterday and I think I am going to stick to the bacon for a few reasons. I feel like you get MUCH more, its cheaper, readily available in the shops around me, holds at LEAST three extra long hauls of e liquid and its easier to just pull a strip off and go about your wicking buisness. The Dos Equis is a great box, SO small.

The VCC isn't bad by any means. Native Wicks, on the other hand, I do not care for at all. Maybe I'm just not using the correct amount but for me I definitely taste the wicking material and it's killing it for me. I have two pucks of it, though, so I'm kind of determined to try and get it right.

Man, that was the next one I was gonna try but it seems hard to find most of the places I shop don't carry it, guess I don't have to worry about that one anymore though lol I agree the VCC is not bad, it's good so far it doesn't live up to the hype nor the price though, it's supposed to last longer but already after 1 day I want to replace it because my coils are starting to taste a bit off. Maybe I will try that dry burning i've seen on the youtube video leaving it in there and see what happens lol Then i'll just throw a new coil on there and do a fresh wick to give it a fair chance and see how it does overtime with a whole new setup.

I also got two pucks of Native wicks and have tried making it super tight and loose and still have yet to get it right as well. Always end up going back to rayon/KGD.

Let me know if you figure it out but like you I've tried packing it tight and then trying it pretty loose and both resulted in a crappy vape.

Yeah, I've said some things about an atty and later realized I was wrong. I hate that.

Mr. Mann.

I used to say the similar thing about the Freakshow Mini. First time I used it with dual coils and the vape and was way too hot after two or three puffs and the drip tip was also hot. I was using the Sub Ohm version.

I really gave the FS MINI down the road. Then I got an authentic I could run single coils on and I was in high heaven. Now I am rocking the little Rogue that is even shorter than the FS Mini and the top airflow cures so many problems of the other attys I have tried and rejected.

Life has a way of making you eat your words.

Native wicks is a**. It doesn't last nearly as long as VCC or cotton bacon. I have a whole puck left myself too.

LOL I'm going away for a few months for work so just trying to stock up on some stuff I guess I will not bother trying the native wicks.. I still need to give the vcc a fair chance though, I bought some cheap juice that was just nasty and maybe i'm crazy but I just can't seem to get rid of that taste.. going to tear apart the atty soak it in alcohol and then make new coils and give it a go again.. I'm a big fan of the bacon though, so the vcc is gonna have a hard time lol

Man I'm excited about the Phenotype, you all have been clamoring for 2 post RDA's and this one looks real good to me, i'm surprised not more people are talking about it. Are you all a bunch of tootle puffers with those small chamber RDA's or what's going on? LOL for $54 that thing was a steal. Can't believe there doesn't seem to be that much interest in it.

May as well keep with the current topic: when I kept reading about people saying they had certain issues with the taste of CB, I was a bit confused. I mean, I get that it is a bit grainy and such, but I got no off taste from it. I didn't view it as particularly special, or at least more special than regular KGD, but I did delight in being able to make wicks like those of coil-porn photos. It was today when I realized that what I saw people taking issue with was CBv1 and not what I had, CBv2, so maybe there is something to it all. Dunno. But either which way, I think that it was worth me noting since I only bought it because of seeing so many with different opinions. It's cotton. For better or worse.

Okay. Back to RDAs. LOL. (No shade thrown on wicking-talk though).

Looks good, for sure. (Speaking about the Phenotype.) Interest raises his hand.

Lol I honestly mostly like the bacon because of the packaging and it's convenient and reasonably priced to me plus the heat resistance seems to be higher than normal and japanese cotton similar for the vcc but the price is too high for that one. Just looking to stock up, this thread seems like a friendly place to talk with people of similar interests so it's enjoyable to talk about all aspects of vaping with other people, theres kind of a camaraderie in here. I've enjoyed meeting and talking about this hobby with you all! It's more personal in this thread than it is searching through 30 different subdivisions of this forum just to find the right sub so you can talk about some cotton with some random person you've never talked to before.. That's the nice thing about this thread.

Back on topic, I wonder if the Tugboat caps will fit the Pheno deck, it looks similar so everyone could have a 2 post deck with all the different options of the tugboat caps, would be pretty cool.

Hmmm...dunno, but I can tell you that if RDA manufacturers start doing what mod makers began doing (20x1 threading anyone?) and saying, like, this top cap will fit x, y, z...we could be on the brink of a new aspect of customization! I was thrilled to find out that the Vector top cap fit, so nicely, the Stumpy base that I was a bit confused that this was not a selling point. But I couldn't wait to tell everyone! I mean, since new top caps are all the rage now, but it's JUST one top cap to fit ONE deck, why not sell a whole RDA as also compatible with another. Seems like it makes dollars and sense. See what I did there? LOL

Yea, I mean they're all 22mm atty's you would think more would be compatible with each other for Franken atty's, the ultimate customization. Manufacturers could stand to make more in the end if some end user comes up with the ultimate frankenatty and everyone ends up buying both theirs and their competitors and someone gets the penultimate vape.. everyone wins!
