The AX1? Just looked at it on FB, not that there's much of anything to see. I know modders like to keep things under wraps so they don't get cloned as quickly.

Yes. All I have to go on is nothing and who will manufacturer it. Funny though, I think it will be good as they have been working on it for a long time, but they have given us next to nothing.

I followed the FB page just now so I can keep an eye on it. There was a post saying that the pre-order list should be up soon.

The beloved pre-order. Makes no sense to me really, but some still are holding onto that tried azz way. If people have waited months on end, just let them wait a couple more weeks until it hits the stores, I mean, honestly! I guess the part that makes me mad is that you don't really know what's on the other end of that pre-order. Will it be in stores? How much longer will it take? Will the price be different? Will the pre-order actually deliver on time? All of those things go into my mind when considering making a pre-order, but they are rarely ever laid out for the possible buyer.

I don't like pre orders but to me they seem so be for funding

Whaaaat....I must comment on that now lol. I wonder why they picked that specific post though, there were plenty in that thread that were just as good if not better in my opinion. Let the hate begin too cause I mentioned native wicks...facepalm....I swear your not allowed to have opinions these days lol. Oh well it is what it is.

At least give that man a free order of some dang-on cotton if you are gonna use his words. Sheesh. LOL
That's what I was thinking! Lol. Well more of a joke really but hey one can wish right. That would be awesome. I do need more actually which sucks cause no shop around me stocks it.

Once again, I do not condone this reviewer, nor have I actually watched the video, but I just saw that he uploaded it.

I watched Rips video on this and while the tank looks alright, $129 is a bit much for something that's not two post, has a plastic tank and has a subpar build quality. After falling for the trap of rip praising the velocity like it's the best thing in the ***** world I'm a little weary of what he says now, no discredit to the guy just think he overhypes things a little bit.

I have this as I liked the idea. But the quality was very poor and tons of machining burrs. And it sucks that you need another 100 dollar rda to use dual sides. But it does work and vape great

I like how he mentions its a tank cracker since its plastic.....then puts a plug that NONE of his juices have a problem. Right. And I'm also 98% sure ultem doesn't just crack cause of juice, its better then peek so I don't see that being a problem. But for the price....eh yeah I guess glass would be better for some. I'd take ultem over glass but the price should drop. Doesn't look half bad but the price kills it and the fact that I don't have a haze rda so I can't change it to dual air holes is a turn off, pass.

Hey @Mr.Mann, any updates on the SOV Zenith?

I am slated to dive into it more next week, but from my initial builds and investigations (several weeks ago), it was far more hassle than I would like to experience with a dripper--and that's why I haven't even wanted to touch it again. Even though I have more time on my hands now, I can say for certain, this atty will end up in the classies.

Let me know when it's going up. Might be interested if the timing is right.

Yea I'm not fond of him but I only bought it cause I originally wanted t when I saw it but hesitated and when he posted it on Instagram I jumped the gun only cause if it did turn out to be awesome I knew it would be out of stock once he reviewed it and said it was the best rda ever lol.

But I don't regret the purchase as I am using it more but I think the quality of it is really only worth 60 bucks. I honestly think if it gets cloned for 40 bucks there's a good chance the quality will be even better. Which is sad cause I wanted to support the company and like buying authentics. If I compare it to my 120 dollar snapdragon or 90 dollar hobo it is not even close in quality. The outside looks great and the top cap and the tank tolerances and overall function but the deck is machined horribly. Was super dirty and had tons of burrs and sharp edges I could flake off with my fingernail and the screws weren't that nice. But all in all it does perform great and it is convenient. But if I hadn't purchased it I wouldn't be missing much. This one I wish I bought a clone of. For 120 bucks it should of came with a dual airflow top cap at least.

Might be a longshot but anyone have the dotmod petri v1.5 and can comment on it? I've watched/read pretty much every review I can on it and I think it will be my next atty, something to complement my Kennedy 24. I know there's issues with the screws not trapping higher than 24g and the posts being rather far apart but my main plan is to run fused claptons/quad coils that won't fit in the Kennedy. Just looking for any thoughts people have on it. My main concern being that the deck is all peak when you're dry burning the coils/checking for hotspots having that peek melt.

I highly doubt that PEEK will melt. It's a really good atomizer for how YOU are planning to use it. If one was not going to use it with large ID wire, I would recommend the v1 (the normal screws without the knurled caps). I wish the airflow was designed more (maybe slots or something to hit those long coils) and not a mere two holes, but it has a fantastic draw and it doesn't retain heat at all hardly. Once again, for how YOU are going to use it, I say do not hesitate.
