I've been curious about that SOD 5K for awhile now. Haven't ever been able to pull the trigger for some reason.
I have the cloud cap & I should revisit it actually but at the time it was too airy for me. It's quality machining with a unique build deck that excels for a single coil & really great flavor. Nice domed cap too.
Seems a lot like the Nipple without hoopla and another $100! [Not really! haha] I just hope there is a hole for the wires because I do not like trapping under the positive nuts.
Oh goodness, now it's time for a damned S.O.V. 5K? Here we go again. And I am like the rest of you: always been interested, but never pulled the trigger for whatever reason.
SOV has them now for $29!

In other news of sub-$30 RDAs: I have been rockin' the Sapor lately by Wotofo (
). hahaha. I might like high-end RDAs, but a good vape is a good vape. I am actually impressed with the Sapor, even though it looks lame. It does quite well with exotic coils--much better than many other RDAs I've tried that I see always with Claptons and the like. Hell, I don't really like using 'exotic' coils, but at least now I got an rda that really does shine with them. This will be my beater atty.Anyway, I got the 5K in a cart now. I am trippin!!!

I think I'm gonna get the sov 5k, it's only 45$. If it sucks oh well not like it's 100+ dollars. Plus I like having more rda's that are both BF and non BF so I can run them on anything however the mood strikes me.

Yeah lol but the 45$ is with the BF pin and the cloud cap as well. That's a deal in my opinion! Even the rda by itself is a steal. I passed up the nami when it was on sale and I wish I didn't, I'm not missing this one.

Technically the Thump air is angled by the ring inside that doesn't let the air flow straight down - this hit the ring and is directed inward. Almost like it is a few mm from the air holes so it doesn't block them, only direct them.
At least that is what mine does.

Unfortunately there's no hole, I wrap the wire around the post & tighten down. Just built mine tonight with a SS vertical coil. Yep, it's still worth the money.
So it's basically like the veritas? Not a problem, I gave up on that when I wished I didn't and sold it. Now I can't find one for the life of me. Thank you!

Sorry, I've never owned the Veritas but it's a solid post except for the squonking hole. I wrap my positive lead around the post then my negative around the screw & tighten them down.
Then yeah that sounds just like the veritas.
Which I actually found in stock! Oh what to do. Can't believe it's still 120$ lol. Not sure if it's authentic I've never shopped with this site before.

I haven't seen a price drop on the veritas, and it's not exactly readily available.
