I used to visit a site called Head-Fi, which dealt with all things related to high-end headphones and headphone amps. When somebody posted their first post, the standard greeting was:

"Welcome to Head-Fi, sorry about your wallet."

I hung out there for a couple of years and when the dust settled after a flurry of buying and selling, I ended up with several pairs of mid-level audiophile headphones, two tube amps, and a vintage TV repairman's case full of spare audio tubes...

...and a much lighter wallet.

Bahahaha! I used to spend a bunch of time over there as well! Same end result too....

Damn Sin I had been stalking also but I had to run to the grocery store I left the phone in the car but I didn't see any count down so I figured I had at least an hour. I guess not haha I just hope he chooses to provide a decent number of them to alternate retailers as the way these flash sales are set up I'll never get one haha
Once he starts to do wholesale, which he hasn't, things will go much easier. Trust me It's easier to buy from a website then it is to buy from the actually modders site, especially when you have 100's of people hovering over the same site.

Let me know if you figure out if that was the release for today
Hoberto said he's putting more up today and next weekend. He didn't say how much so I'd say just stay stalkin. Good luck!

I just got this in. So far, when taking a drag (on the wide open setting), it sounds like a teapot that is 'ready' to be poured. LOL. But damn if it ain't one sexy azz atty! (This pic does it no justice).

The kettle rda lol. I like the whole air flow storage underneath the deck, that's cool. Even though I'd probly use it wide open. Build it! Now! I must know.

To be honest, I am more interested in getting the Thump built. It's too early for me to build tho. I am too scattered in the early parts of the day and I am not going to fumble with these atties (especially the Nipple). They must remain as perfect I can keep them. Got to put on my Origen gloves now. LOL

Damn, I'd hate to see you with the origen 16 lol my thumb nail is bigger then that thing. There's always another option, send it to your boy and I'll let you know. Sorry I'm bored, long car ride, too much caffeine and vape.

Been there, done that :) . Ended up with a couple of Grado and Sennheiser cans along with a few Shure and Ultimate Ears in-ear monitors that I never really used outside of posting pictures on the forum :( . And a couple of DACs and interconnects as well...

So far the only real con about the Thump (in terms of the design of it) is the center post is not squared off. If you turn the screws too much, the post can spin. Nothing too problematic, but it's a con.

'Bout to vape on it.

Hmmmm, that's interesting since mine has never moved. I wonder if CF did something to prevent that when he bottom fed mine?

Another con: those air inlets are far too close to the upper lips for my taste and my lips! LOL). Too close! Totally forgot how much I disliked that aspect on the Vector, but it's probably worse here.

Damn, I could've been rockin' a Stumpy again. Eh well. @HeiSINberg

To me, the vape is okay. Inital impressions, of course. Air inlets too close, positive post can spin and the vape is okay. It looks REALLY good and the build is easy. I may be able to get better flavor from it, but now it's not impressing me.

Yeah I got decent size lips I can't have that lol. That did bother me on the vector too, exactly why it's been collecting dust since then. Explains why every pic I see of someone's has a pretty long drip tip on it.

I love that the airflow adjustment can happen with just a turn of the tip (even though it's just using my own tip). It's got some good qualities, obviously, but the draw is not good to me and even though it's just the first build, I can't see what I could do differently with this build. I don't think it's the build to be honest.

I think the nip is more up your alley honestly. Maybe try another build to make sure?
