Well I'm going to say this & I shouldn't because well because....but...while I've only used the NoPity for a few hours today I like the Hobo 3.1 more. I'm glad I have both & hoping it's just some sour grapes from me & the NoPity not starting out on the right foot but the Hobo just works perfectly for my vape style. Easy to build, tons of flavor, perfect air & just flat out gorgeous. It didn't look at all impressive in pics but it's stunning on the Infinity. Sure the barrel is a pita to get off but I squonk so I don't need to remove it. Plus I did remove the bottom larger o-ring which makes it significantly easier to remove but even with the o-ring removed it doesn't leak. I've over squonked & it doesn't leak, it just works for me. I still can't figure out why he stopped making it & went with a split four post design on the Drifter which is so last year IMO. I am getting an amazing vape on my second build, I feel like it would work with any build I try. It's flavorful, thick, rich & juicy, I love a moist vape but without spit back. Speaking of, I have zero spit back with a twisted build right under the drip tip & the top cap doesn't get hot! Impressive in every way.

The NoPity on the other hand is gorgeous, the machining is excellent & it looks impressive in every way. I struggled today with Clapton builds, my first dual coil Clapton's leaked like a sieve right out of the air holes no matter how I dripped so I ripped that out. Then I did a single Clapton coil & didn't like the way it was laying in the deck so then I ripped that out. Replaced it with another dual coil Clapton build but this time went smaller inner diameter hoping I could leave some room in between the coils to drip down & it's working. It's a good vape but a little restricted. The flavor & density is there but it doesn't taste moist, kind of dry like a tank taste not a fresh juicy wick on coils taste that I prefer. I'm traveling today & tomorrow so I decided not to bring it since I can't drip while I drive so I won't be able to get back to it until Friday. I think a lot of this will go away with a bottom feed pin so I don't have to deal with a messy cap & leaking out of the bottom air holes. Again, it's way too soon to tell & I hope that I eat my words once I have some time with it but it's just my opinion after a couple of hours with it vs a couple of days with the Hobo. My gut tells me I'd buy another Hobo if I found one, I've even considered a clone actually. I'm not so sure at this point if I'd buy another NoPity but I'm certainly not throwing it away either.
Restrictive huh, so you didn't get the supercloudbruhhelixacordian cap?! Only an extra 30$....

I didn't see it listed & for some reason I thought it was included because the original pics showed it. Once I get it going on one of my squonkers I'll see if I really need it or not.

I know this isn't a wick thread but wanted to mention it since wicking goes hand in hand with RDA's. I received a sample of native wicks premium blend (unreleased) and I've got to say this is hands down the best wick I have ever used. It trumps rayon and ken do vape cotton (my previous favorite). You can vape this bone dry and have no burnt taste (130+w), it doesn't burn in the center and even when using dark/sugary juices the caramelized juice doesn't stain/stay in the wick. I've been using it in my goon since I got it, over 90mls of juice at 110+w and it was still just as white as the day I wicked it. I'm vaping some Smoked Custard (apple cherry wood, ~20ml) in the Subzero 24 and my wicks have no staining what so ever. On top of all that the wick is just as, if not more absorbent than kendo and rayon. Wicking with this is as easy as using cotton bacon and there's zero hint of cotton taste, absolutely no break in period, the same as Kendo, and the flavor is really clean through out the duration of the wick. I believe it's supposed to be released April 1st. I usually don't gush over something so simple as wick but it's so good I took out the wick from all my other RDA's and replaced them with premium blend. Highly recommend for anyone looking for the next step up in wicking material.

EDIT: Also want to mention, when fresh, it absorbs juice right off the bat it doesn't sit on the top and take time to fully absorb in like some other materials.

I'll have to give it a try. I think the product is labeled Platinum and not premium.

I'm with you fish I have some simple spaced single core stainless Clapton's in my hobo and the flavor is really amazing gushy almost 8) im going to try a centered single coil next like the one you posted 8)

In other news my naRDA clone from fastech came last night and im not usually a fan of clones but the machining is beautiful the tolerances are tight and the flavor is amazing  I have a single spaced 24g stainless 3mm Id coil centered at .55 35-40w and the flavor is really good my coil came out a bit janky asbit was my first time building on this and I only had 15min to do it before work but I am super pleased with it! If I could find a stock priced Narda for sale I would snatch it up in a second as I'm really enjoying this clone !!!

@MrNobody
So I'm seeing some good reviews about the goon how are you liking the flavor and Also how big is the well ? I'm very tempted to grab this as I recently started building some framed stapled Clapton's and it looks purrrfect for big builds 8)

Love you guys muah:rickroll:

Flavor on the Goon is amazing and the well holds plenty of juice. My only thing about it is that it gets hot with chain vaping, though I suppose that's build dependent.

That would depend on what atty you have on top of said BF device... If you put an atty on it that the feed/drain is flush with the deck, (ie.. O-16, Nuppin', & Stumpy), and are aware of when to and when not to squonk, you will not have the problem of vaping reclaimed liquid in the bottle.
I just bought an Origen little for the desire to start squonking. It sounds like the one thing that will make me content with vamping. Good flavor, no problems with high by juices at around 60 watts on a .3 build. But now these two know-it-alls from the shop I go to everything now and again said, squonking died out years ago, and now people are trying to bring them back in. There's a reason not too many people use them. There's always problems with them. Juice leaking all the time. Getting juice all over from outside of the tube when you go to change bottles, etc... One guy said he bought a squonk and sold it the next week. The other guy just might have been talking it down because he's a smart allic and knows the best ways to vape, of course. I hate these types of people, but now they got to my head a little bit, and I'm wondering, will I have to be messing around with the svapiamo squonk all the time to keep it from leaking. Will there be more tinkering involved than when I use rtas now and have to get the rayon just right to vape lower ohms, higher wattage, and sub ohm? Please give me the real scoop on these guys! I don't want a 160 dollar mod's electronics to be destroyed by juice. And I don't want to buy all of this to be regretting it a week afterward. Thanks!

There's a learning curve with any equipment.
But I have tried a little bit, and cannot be happy with a tank any more - my favorite setup is a mechanical squonkbox.
I find it more forgiving with builds and wick - I always used to have trouble with tanks that couldn't "keep up" wicking, or else would leak - FAR more "fiddling" with tanks if you ask me.
And I've wiped a couple drops out of the inside of a mod - in the past year - cuz I didn't have it threaded on perfectly. Once I also squonked like 4 times forgetting to vape in between, and got a little dribble of juice out an airhole. That's about it.

Bottom line - there are some really advanced vapers who squonk, it's just not the most common gear. Be proud of it!

I have an svapiamo, a couple of us in here do and I'm only speaking for me at this point but mine has never leaked a drop since I got it. I wouldn't listen to those vape shop people, most of them sit there and act like they know everything about vaping when in reality the average Joe walking in off the street knows 95% more then the ones working there.

Yeah...don't listen to the "experts" at your local shop. Squonking is very much alive and well.

I've never owned the mod that you have, but I do have two of the Origen Little 16 and they vape fantastic on my Reos with no leaking or mess. I could not possibly be happier with the performance.

...and when I walk into my local vape shop the "experts" all gather round to have a look at my mod and they are fascinated by it - they love it.

So it's all about attitude, or just plain ignorance.

Those guys are exactly why I don't go into B&M's at all... 99% of them know absolutely nothing about vaping in general and only want to sell you what they have on their shelf!! Why? Because that is the only way they make any money. Their not going to make anything by telling you to buy something they don't stock. Its not the 1st time any salesman has ever lied to you and I guarantee you it won't be the last time!!! Its all about "THE CLOUDZ BRO"....

Well, I have some sticks too, but I don't try and tell folks how or what to vape, unless they ask me. :) Sounds like his vape store experts need to grow up a little, or at least learn to tactfully express their opinions.

Just got my tsunami in about to through in a build any recommended builds?

Me too. I won't have any exciting builds since I can only do simple but, I put a dual coil 24ga 3mm at .43 ohms. Easiest addy I've built. Still playing around with it. Need to try the smaller drip tip. Comes with a buncha parts. Cap comes off easily but is snug. Like the air control so far (both wide open now.)

These are only initial impressions after about ten minutes of use. Worth the low price.

Is the Sod 5k any good?
I got mine but have not built it yet. The airhole on the SS cap is literally a pin hole. I don't get it.

I bought an anodized chuff as well and the amodization is really thick and kind of globbed on.

Are you building verticals in this thing?

I built mine for the first time tonight. 24ga dual coil 3mm diameter coming in at .26 this thing looks good on everything I've had it on so far. Here it is on my new infected mod & on my GP PAPS v4.
