What is best let the cotton tails go all the way to the bottom or clip them underneath the deck or half way through I'm on my first rdta and I wicked with the tails all the way to the bottom and its vaping nicely but when I go to refill the tank I've got to watch how much juice I put in because the liquid that ils already absorbed in the cotton overflows the tank when I screw the deck back in?

Just below the deck for me. The motion of bringing the vape gear to my mouth sloshes the juice around, so that the wick gets juice.
Funny how a couple of years ago.... that was the biggest complaint re Geni tanks... having to tip to feed the wicks.

I like a longer tail so I don't have to remember to wet the wick.

i saw another comment on here that i think is truly your best piece of advice, every tank is going to be a little bit different and even the way you enjoy your vape my impact the way you choose to wick it, some prefer a more wet vaping experience and will make their wicks extra thin, where as other will make sure the holes there cotton wells are packed more tightly for a tighter draw and slightly tighter airflow, but as long as it goes below the build deck about 1-2 mm, with the way most people hold the vape while the hit it, the juice moves around enough to keep it very well wicked. Ive been using an ijoy rdta box for a few weeks now and dry hits are absolutely not a problem!
