I'm using TapTalk so I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this and I apologize if it is in the wrong place.
A friend of mine purchased the new Azeroth with the triple coil. Straight from the word go he had issues with it. It took forever for it to come in and when he got it...leak issues bad! Also, the ohms were jumping all over the place. He asked me to the a look at it. All I can say is ABSOLUTELY! I wanted to get my hands on one anyway! And...boy was I super disappointed...at first.
I was able to quickly figure out everything was loose...coils, deck (did not fit properly), center pin. All were loose. The threads are so bad the triple coil deck gets tight before the seal so it leaked juice as of you forgot to wick the coils! I finally got the threads straighten out and this thing turned out to be an awesome RDTA.
There still remains one major issue. The dual post deck will not screw all the way in. It stops before the center pin comes out the bottom. This one is not a thread issue, but appears the top of the deck is to wide to screw in any further. I haven't been able to get that to work yet, but if it were mine, I wouldn't even worry about it! I love the triple coil deck. The flavor, clouds, and temp all work great for me! I might try to tell him that I...ahem...lost his RDTA and he will have to order a new one! J/K!
Anyway, has anyone else had issues with the dual post deck in the latest Azeroth RDTA? I get the feeling like this one he ordered came with the wrong dual post deck.
