I had seen a thread by Bellatrist where she used a giant syringe (or Turkey baster) with one of those pencil grippers to flush cartos. I got to thinking that I was sick and tired of blowing these carts out after I boiled them due to that when I boil I do a lot at a time. EUREKA! What if I use a pilates ball pump with the pencil gripper on it. This thing works great and gets that residual out that seems to sometimes leave a musty taste to my cartos.
You can also use the grippers that seem to come on some of the ballpoint pens, which worked better for me since one end is tighter than the other and I do not have to hold it on there.
