I am a newbie, started vaping a week ago on my Blu Cigs starter kit. Was off analogs for a day and began to have my usual craving for one or two analogs with my morning Nespresso and couple of times and it seems I back to a mixture of vaping and analogs now.

Eventually I would like to just reply on vaping though being in Singapore, guess would still have to have a pack of analogs for public areas. I am wondering would nicotine intake be much higher since now I am Vaping a lot as I could do that while at home, in office and on my bed? Vaping supposed to reduce heaps of harmful substances as compared or analogs....

Any advise on this?

Hear from you guys soon.

actually thru vaping, you could reduce the nicotine cravings there are different levels of nicotine in ejuice, could start from 24mg to 12mg, 9mg and eventually 0mg..
4000 chemicals in analogs vs 4 chemicals in ejuice namely pg,vg,nicotene & flavour.
get the right gear and you could knock off analogs for good..

Ah ok. Thanks guys! desmondsg you have a good point. I shall try to refrain from analogs tomorrow morning and vape with my morning Nespresso. Currently my blu cigs cartridges consist of med and low nicotine level and I must say med level does curb my cravings for analog better. I usually smoke over a pack of Malboro Silver Method each day....

Heading towards my third week right now and I've cut down on my intake of analogs. Averaging around 3-5 sticks a day and that's usually when I'm outside. When I'm at home, vaping replaces my analogs.

My advice would be to pick flavours which are similar to what you are currently smoking and slowly experiment from there. I'm a heavy menthol smoker and my first flavour was Sub zero from Halo. Even though the nicotine level (6mg) was much lower than what I'm used to, the strong menthol gives me adequate throat hit to ignore the difference in nicotine level. I've tried other novelty flavours like Malibu (9mg) and that didn't really work for me. The throat hit and coolness which I'm accustomed to was missing. It was much easier to make the switch to vaping with subzero rather than other flavours (just my opinion).

Congrats. I'd say you're on track staying off analogs.

It took me a while to kick off the analogs habit, but eventually... you'll find yourself 'forgetting; to light up.

No sin doing analogs though, I'd still bring a pack or 2 when going overseas.:p

I'm a heavy menthol smoker and my first flavour was Sub zero from Halo.

SubZero was the first menthol juice that I really liked, and now its my everyday choice ... :D

But if you crave the maximum menthol hit, try Arctic Wolf from VaporGod, its almost too strong by itself, but mixes well ... :thumb:

I also realized that when I tried my colleague's Ego setup, my throat were so dried from few puffs and was feeling breathless. Doesn't feel any dryness nor breathless when on Blu Cigs and in fact Blu Cigs are pretty smooth, just doesn't give me the strong menthol and throat hit hence I kept Vaping often on it till I carve for a analog. I remembered my colleague's Ego setup was gotten across the bridge...

From what I know, nicotine level is a factor of the "throat hit". However the setup itself (i.e. atomizer/tank/clearo/carto, voltage/wattage) are also pertinent factors. Menthol doesn't really contribute to throat hit per se, but it helps me disassociate the difference between analogs and vaping by providing me with the familiar feeling of coolness around the throat upon inhale and exhale.

My initial setup was an ego-t and mini protank 2. I'm currently using an Astro mech mod + Kayfun 3.1. The difference between the two is huge. Running on a 0.9ohm coil, i retested the malibu. Although I still didn't really like it, but I can tell the nuances in flavour. Coconut, pineapple and a hint of menthol. Whereas on the ego setup, I could only taste coconut. And with the current setup, vapour production was more satisfying. Dragging on for like 6 secs is impossible for me at this stage. Had to keep reminding myself this is not an ego.

However, that is not to say the ego-t is useless. I'm still infatuated with it (alright maybe not so much now, since the arrival of the new toy). There are certain juices which I prefer vaping on the ego rather than on the mech mod.

e.g. Supersnow from Monkey Vapes (citrus, lemon, hint of pineapple and menthol)
On the Astro + KF3.1, its much too sweet and there's a light synthetic after taste which lingers.
On the ego-t + mini protank 2, the sweetness is muted with no synthetic after taste.

I'm going to try the Supersnow again on a higher resistance setup. I think it should taste better on lower power.

Logged into the "Must try" juices :)

actually our next door neighbour in bolehland has vapeshops, and if you join into one of their forums, vapemeets are held regularly..ive seen them in coffeeshops vaping away and tinkering with their rebuildables, and they've made in bolehland mods and juices ..unlike here..vape in coffeeshop? no chance..
