Greetings! As the title suggests, I have a question of which im assuming other people have had to figure out before. I have an Omega RDA and the smok ohm reader. Both devices lack an adjustable connection so I can't read my coils. Is there any way to read my coils without going out and buying a new meter?

Not familiar with the Smok. Assuming you cannot thread your RDA onto it. The only way to get a reading is to reach in with probe tips off a meter. Can you post a pic of your Smok? Do you have a vv/vw mod you can screw it onto and get a reading?
I have the Smok reader and the center pin is quite recessed. It won't read one of my atomizers that has a short 510 connector. So, you're not alone. The only thing I can think of, is to get a small piece of copper wire, bend it on an O shape, and lay it on the meter as you screw it in... making sure not to touch the edges.. it's a temporary fix and very finniky. the only other permanent solution requires grinding down the top of the 510 connector down a bit until it makes contact, but that is irreversable. I'm personally looking for a replacement to the Smok, since it reads only out to one decimal place.

You might try using a 510 to ego addapter. Dispite the name there is a 510 on both ends, along with the ego. It might make contact with the ohm reader and the atty might fit too.
I am not sure about the original but my Omega clone has a press fit center pin/post. I was able to take a pair of pliers and push it down just a tiny bit so that the 510 pin was not recessed so far. This fixed my contact problems with it.
