If you're interested in just 5V vaping, the eBay module in my http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/battery-mods/241040-3-2-5-mod.html works fairly good. But it is a fixed 5V boost, not a VV boost.

I haven't been following "The Kick" by Evolv, but here is the thread - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/nhaler/237122-nhaler-announces-kick-evolv.html. This is the electronics module that runs the Darwin. I don't believe it's out yet; but if ya want it, be prepared to wait in a loooong line ;).

The Kick would work fine but I'm sure they will be higher priced. 5 volt vaping has always been to hot for me. I use LR Boges at 4.2 to 4.4 volts 99% of the time. I have Provari's and a Mastadon but I'd like to build some cheep single battery (26650) mod boxes to use at work. I have some twin battery VV mod boxes I built into an Altoids tin but I like single battery mods better.

There's been mention of it, but my guess is it'll be a while before it's available. The Kick should be great for modders (other than the pot location). Personally I wish they'd just put a keyway on the Kick (maybe there already is?) to prevent it from spinning, and then mount the pot so it's accessed from the side (not the top). Then all you'd need to do is have a small hole in the mod body to insert a screw driver into to adjust the wattage.
