So, here I go. ecig due to arrive in the mail any day now. Have read and researched for a while. Am so excited for the change, I can’t wait. Found this forum and know it will be a help, learned a bunch already. Just hope I bought the right one.

I really LOVE smoking, the whole ritual of the analog...been at it for over 40 years. Stole and puffed Dad's discarded butts and Kool 100's since I was in single digits. Learned to inhale at 12. Quit for 7 years in the mid 90's due to having an asthmatic kid. Divorce after 20+ years of marriage brought me back..."only for a year to get thru this"...12 years later I smoke 2 packs a day. I love smoking, my best friend, always been there....

Got laid off a week ago, can’t afford the habit, but I love to hold a cig, inhale, exhale...aaahhh, chill.

OH, and the spot on the left lung they found last week.

What I love about all I have read is that no one started vaping to quit analogs; it was a convenient by product. My deal, If I smoke one less carton this month, I recoup my initial investment.

Hi, Blu! If you have immediate questions, from personal experience I can recommend going into chat and asking your question. There are lots of helpful people who will give you a straight answer. It's great to be able to have this resource.

I bought my first kit two months ago, sending my daughter away to college doesn't equate with $8.28 a pack. Once I made that purchase, I have never bought another pack of "smokes". Your reasons are way better than mine. Good luck, both with vaping and with your health.

Good Luck Blu! I have to say it has been a very easy transition for me. I was a 2 pack a day smoker (marlboro ultra light 100s) and I have been satisfied completely so far. I accidentally started with a really high nic juice, 36mg and I will say the first 3 days, I smoked much less than I would have with analogs. Give you an idea, I bought 1 5ml bottle of apple flavor, 36mg. I have only used half of it so far. I did go through the pre-loaded ones they sent with the kit though. I think I would recommend a small bottle of high nic juice just for when you have that big craving.

I am like you, I enjoy the entire smoking experience. I didn't want to quit that experience. So far, vaping has completely satisfied my need for the experience and it is MUCH healthier for me. To be honest, I dont ever plan on quitting (vaping) if I can help it, because I love it so much, but at least now I can do it without all those harsh chemicals entering my body.

Good luck to you! I did start vaping to stop smoking and it worked. Not only did it work, I tried an analog for the first time a couple weeks ago and couldn't even choke down one cig. Afterwards I wanted to vomit the taste was so bad. Hope it works for you like it did for most of us here on the forum!

Yes, but if it works to get you off smokes (and it does work for many people) then great! If not, don't give up! There are other options yet to try.

Welcome and wishing a successful journey for you...was a 40+ year smoker....laid them down in less than a week....was just better !!! It is a nice accident to quit smoking cigarettes.....we are here for you !!

Yes I did get the blu..sorta of a karmic deal...this handle has been one I have used since 1999, so i felt it, if that makes any sense.
I need a change, I need not to continue to polute my body.

Glad to see you here, kinda make it all make even more sense. Shipping on the blu is taking 4-ever, and after reading for the last 10 days, I may ship it back on the 30-day policy faster than they shipped to me.
I will be going to the Daytona Flea Market this Sat. and learned from my reading here there is a store front there. Really going for Biketoberfest, but have insisted to the SO, I must stop there!

Ok Im back...my starter kid has not yet arrived and I am so ready to get started. Tracking of the shipment show its close...maybe tommorrow.

But tommorrow I go to Daytona Beach for Biketoberfest and will hit the flea market where there is an ecig storefront-which I learned about from this site. Since I ordered the blu starter kid, I have read so much and think maybe I got the wrong one. I really, really want to change. I am so sick of the analogs!

Good Bikes and maybe a new 310 and some juice...gosh I need something other than Basic Full Flavor!
