I just got a new CE4 for my EGO-T and its giving me a really airy draw compared to my last ce4, the only differnece is my first one had just 2 wicks down each side but this one has like 2 wicks that split into 5 small ones. I though CE4 didnt have air holes like kangers and what not, is there a simple way to get my Throat Hit back. Flavour tastes great though

There are probably little notches around the base where it connects to your ego. You can place your finger around there to tighten the draw. I know that for me the throat hit can change with whatever tank I'm using at the time. Less throat hit with an evod, than with my protank for example.

It may have something to do with the wicks, I am guessing they have unravelled and were not originally meant to be 5 stands. I stopped using CE4s awhile back, but when I was using them, I noticed some of my replacement CE4s didn't work as well as others. The ones that came with my starter kit were different from the replacement ones, and not all of my replacement ones(even though the were from the same place) worked exactly the same.

No CE4's are created equal...they are basically all the same but different companies have slight variations or incorrectly identify their products..since all made in China, the companies there really don't know what to call them and adapt to our terminology...presuming the juice is the same PG/VG ratio on the old and new CE4, they should be same as far as flavor and throat hit...make sure its threaded correctly (but not overtightened)...

CE4 have a smooth silver coated bottom base, top filler and a hotter, warmer feeling and throat hit than a BCC (bottom coil) clearo/tank with a roughed edge bottom base, bottom filler that has a cooler and more airy draw..

I've had a clearo with the 5 strands down the sides before. It's just the way it's wicked. Szot had a great suggestion with not over tightening (and that goes for any tank you use). I got fed up with ce4 and 5's and moved to pyrex. Not that you're looking for an alternative, but they do have a more true flavor. Fewer dry hits with a bottom coil, too.

it doesnt look like they came unravelled since every single one of the CE4's comes like that, just the one in my starter kit came with 2 single wicks
