Hey everyone,

I haven't checked in much since I got my e-power. I like it a lot. The batteries last forever. I get at least a day and a half of heavy vaping out of each charge. I've been trying different juices and so far, I've only found three that i really like. The DeKang 24 mg RY4 is really good. I just ran out and at the suggestion of a couple of folks I ordered some 18mg Organic VR4 18mg from Vaperite. I've been told that this is a really tasty RY4 type juice. It should arrive today or tomorrow. I also got a free sample when I placed the order so I chose the Organic Kona Cream. There were lots of good reviews of this flavor. I also like the DeKang 24mg 555 juice. It's a bit more subtle than the RY4 but it has a nice sweet finish and a nutty flavor I love but can't quite put my finger on (pecan?). I also got a Coffee juice from Gourmet Vapor that is not bad either. It has a strong coffee smell and taste with a hint of chocolate and something else I can't identify. I'm dying to try the RY4 from Backwood's Brew but they are not taking orders right now. It gets rave reviews.

When I first started vaping I didn't think i would like any sweet flavors but I find that i prefer them to the straight tobacco flavors. I smoked an analog the other day to see if i would still like it and I didn't. Not at all. What little taste their was didn't taste good at all. I took 2 drags from it and put it out. Haven't had one since.

Given my preferences above, what other flavors would be good for me to try. I made a custom flavor on the Gourmet Vapor site (Java Choconut Jolt - coffee, chocolate and a hint of coconut) but it was awful. The DeKang USA blend that I ordered with the e-power is also underwhelming. Tastes listless and bland. :vapor:

For comparison, could you tell me how long you went without charging your stock batteries before and how long your E-Power is lasting you?

Thanks

Grats!! I don't have an EPower but I have a couple of 3.7v box mods and a couple of 3.7v big batteries.

I like Dekang RY4. I use 0mg spiked with a bit of 6mg to suck on when I am vaping too much.

Gourmet Vapor - next sale (and they have great sales - just not often) consider vanillarum (some customer's creation - 60% vanilla, 20% caramel 20% rum - taste of rum on your lips). And sales are a great time to play with the Flavor creator - it's a crapshoot since we don't know the relative strengths of the flavorings, but fun. To be nice, mark your flavors private unless one comes out well. This last sale I made a PB&J and a raspberry cinnamon one and something else (still have to try them). I also use the description field of my private ones to leave myself notes on what to try next time.

I am not a coffee lover so I can't help you with that. Cocoas are great (and most US cigs have cocoa in them). But it is hard to find cocoas and chocolates that don't drop a lot of flavoring sediment. I use Vapor4Life WOWbacco which is a cocoa tobacco. You may as well sign up for their sales (lower left front page - their cartos are KR808D-1 threaded but they sell the juices too. Many are overflavored IMO but I like some and the are thin and good in cartomizers)

One interesting tobacco is Velvet Vapors Vanilla Almond Tobacco - sort of a 555 but richer. And their Raspberry Gingerale is great (they also have plain gingerale)

And another interesting tobacco is Juicy Vapor's B52 (tastes like tobacco w/ a B52 so sort of like Baileys, Southern Comfort, Grand Marnier). May drop sediment though.

I'm sitting here vaping my just arrived VR4 juice from Vaperite. First off, the juice smells like a cross between caramel and vanilla, sort of like those caramel cream hard candies. It's a bit thinner than the DeKang RY4 but that made it much easier to fill a cart. My first impression is that it's milder and a little less sweet tasting than the DeKang. Not quite as much TH but it's also a 50/50 18mg juice, unlike the DeKang which was an all PG 2mg juice so I expected it to be a bit milder and less throaty. The flavor is subtle but very good. It also feels warmer in my mouth, if that makes any sense. It produces a TON of thick vaper which is great because I like to french inhale (let it drift from my mouth up into my nose) because I think this brings out the flavor a bit more than a straight inhale. As I continue to vape this juice the flavor is getting more pronounced. I am really digging this warming feeling I am getting from this juice. In that way it's unlike any juice I've vaped before. Perhaps that's a function of the 50/50 pg/vg mix? Not sure but I like it a lot.

The package came with a business card and on the back there's a recommendation to let this juice steep for a few days. I have the bottle open on my desk so I'll do a follow-up in a few days. All in all, I am pleased with this juice. It doesn't have a heavy taste and I can see vaping this all day long. I'll be trying out the free sample of Kona Cream after dinner.

Initial rating :vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor:/5 (ymmv)

Well, this is my first e-cig and it came with these batteries. The batteries last about a day and a half. I would estimate at least 6-8 hours of vaping. A lot longer than I thought they would last and I'm really happy about it.

Good choice for a beginner PV. Those batteries will last much longer and cost much less than the eGo/Riva type batteries, also.

I've been vaping the VR4 from vaperite since I got it yesterday and I still like it a lot but I am finding that it really isn't an all day vape for me. It's a little too sweet and the caramel, while delicious, is a little over-powering. This is clearly a great juice but I was looking for something I can vape all day - more throat hit and less sweetness. I guess the search continues. I want to try some of the flavors from Nite Lite Vapor but I see that they aren't taking any orders at the present time. The search continues.

I like two from then, tennessee cured and the island with some banana slurry from alien visions mixed in, bout 1 part banana to 3 island. not bad stuff, but i still have a lot to try. still looking for a chocolate flavor and a coffee i actually like.

secondddd my epower 18650 came with the switch like, half under the assembly. It's not bad it works, but i'm worried. know where to get replacement switches? everyones out of them or only care the 14*** (smaller version) I just got it today, using fluxomizers on it. and i gotta say, i'm stoked on it. very nice. leaving for a 8 hour drive 2maro for vacation and its nice to know that one bat will get me allll the way there, and prob no more than 2 fluxomizers. i really don't think i could kill 2 at least :p i vape like a madman in the car.

Still loving my epower. I've been vaping so much that I've vaped through an entire pack of cartomizers. Had to reorder today. Sorry to hear about you having problems with the switch on your 18650. You might try Brent at Hoosierecigsupply.com to see if he has the switches. Just ordered some RY4 from ElixirLiquids.com after reading some reviews and watching some YouTube video reviews. It seems to be the consensus that this RY4 is pretty close to what I'm looking for. I'll post a review once I get it.

I'm also considering getting a vv mod. Going to post a new thread (somewhere) seeking some recommendations.

If you want a top of the line variable volt PV, I would suggest you look at the Darwin. No PV is as technologly advanced as the Darwin. 21+ hours on a charge, "regulated boost circuit" technology so your last vape is as good as the first for the ultimate in consistency and the only PV that recognizes the resistence change in the atty/carto and automatically adjusts the power level to compensate for the change.

I just ordered some new flavors today and I'll be providing a review once they come in and I have a chance to try them out. The new flavors are:

Prime Vaping all flavors are 18mg. nicotine @ 70/30
PV4 recommened to me by Brent at Hoosier e-cig Supply
Boston Cream Pie
Love From Above
Nostalgia

Nite Lite Vapor

Bounty Hunter - I got the recommended 16 mg. @ 65/35

If anyone has vaped these flavors I would be interested in what you think about them.

As a follow up, I have been vaping VR4 from Vaperite and I reviewed it when I first got it and after vaping it for a while (see thread above). Now that I am almost at the end of the bottle, I wanted to follow up again and provide more feedback.

This is an excellent flavor. When I first started vaping it I thought it was a bit on the sweet side, almost too sweet but the longer it has steeped (I leave it open on my dresser) the less sweet it has gotten. In fact, I would say that it is almost perfect. It is a smooth, warm and luscious RY4 type of flavor but a bit smoother on the throat than the DeKang RY4 I got with my e-power. While I prefer the DeKang (probably because it was a 24 mg all PG juice), this is a close second. With some flavors I've noticed you get a sort of taste fatigue where the longer you vape it, the less you can taste it. With VR4 that doesn't seem to happen. It has a very consistent flavor and while I don't consider it an all day vape, it is my go to after dinner vape. I highly recommend it.

How many charges do these batteries have for life span and are the batteries expensive?
