Not sure what I really want to do here. I went and looked at a Radix 30w box mod and the thing is sturdy and nice but 200 bucks. A quick glace around the interwebs shows ill be paying 210-240 for an authentic HANA 30w device. Looking at fasttech they have a clone without battery for 49 which is really tempting to me. Does anyone have the fasttech clone and how are you liking it? How is the build, does it feel like a decently built knock off? Also up for other suggestions. I saw a 50w device on 101vape but I dont like how it looks. Now im just rambling aloud. Looking for suggestions and feedback. Basically I want to run dual or quad coils on my dripper and my provari isnt up for it. I dont want a mech

I myself need a new box mod. Next paycheck I'll probably buy the IPV2. If you haven't already checked it out, I suggest you do. I was right where you are at a few weeks ago.....in the market for a new box mod, and not exactly sure what I wanted. I posted a thread on another forum, and got a bunch of suggestions. Out of all the suggestions, I did my homework and found the IPV2 to be the best buy for the money.

The IPV2 is 50 watts...so unless you plan to vape BELOW 0.2 ohms, you will be fully taken care of. It costs around $90, which is a great price considering it is 50watts. It is built really well from what I hear, and has a GREAT chipset, known for its accuracy.

The IPV2 is the one im looking at on 101vape. They have it for 109 which isnt too bad. Is that button on top a touch sensitive fire button? Thats the one thing that concerns me.

My FT clone has been good to me. I actually never saw the option for no battery, but with the efest it arrived in about 18 days (Baltimore). It has actually exceeded my expectations thus far. I read so many horror stories that I figured it would be a hot glue mess requiring extensive fixing up prior to use... not the case for mine. Obviously your experience may differ. Next up for me is a raptor box made by one of the many small shops in the excellent Maryland vape community.

I just picked one up from Vapertek for around 95 with shipping and a coupon code took 3 days to arrive, works great.

I used my spam email account and signed up for there newsletter or something and got 5% off (click the coupon tab on the right side of the page). They may have a Facebook discount too. I don't use Facebook so I'm not sure on that, but Google shows one from a year ago...I think another route is 5off as a code (definitely not sure on that one).

yep! got it! works great. I took a look inside... and its got quite a bit of hot glue, but, nothing bad happened so far.

Gets a bit hot from contiuos Vaping 30 Watts. Cant seem to go below that... haha take a while to charge and battery isnt the best at 30w, but ypou should be alright for a day out... usually it lasts me 2-3 days, but I only use it at home, and only sometimes. I prefer to take my Mech out with me

Now to find somewhere that actually has an authentic sony battery in stock. I just run the 2k mah AWs on my provari and they wont cut it with this. Im sure the fiancee will understand the urgency of this all

Ok, my silver ipv2 came in the mail Saturday. So far I dont see any flaws. The finish is good and the box feels sturdy in my hand. I dont notice any gap between the battery plate and ghe mod body that some have experienced. The little display DID have a protective film over it (i read somewhere it didnt). I havent used it yet because my batteries wont be in until later today. First impressions are that its a mod of relative quality build and im excited to juice my new .9 ohm dual coil build in my tugboat.

Welp, battery charged and taking this thing for a spin!

ho-lee crap, my provari read this duel coil build at .9 and I could only run it at 3.4v. Running it at 20w or 30w is mind boggling. The 6mg juice def has a kick to it that I didnt expect. The IPV2 reads the resistance at 1ohm even. Only a few puffs in and everything seems to be running as expected. The touch sensor is cool and I had expected to not like it.
