It use to be that refilling the carts that after about a 30ml bottle they were pretty much garbage. The latest carts have worked for 60ml and maybe even more. A few of the five I have look pretty bad but the majority are still good. This is going to save me a lot of money.

Are you using wow or coolcarts or both? Pre-filled or blanks?

Yea for the most part I would say 30-40 refills if you aren't sloppy and overfill, if you are then I would say 15, but sally we know you are so you probably get about 10 refills? lol just kidding with ya!

Hey Mikey! ;-) Lynn made the Xmas icon for me....I love it! Regarding my post, I guess I was questioning how anyone can get 30 or 60 refills out of one cart? Maybe he was washing them out in the interim??

WOW carts, prefilled

I've got WOW blanks, and I've probably refilled them 5 times now, and they're still going strong. It's awesome to think that they might last me long enough to go through my two 30mL bottles I ordered xD

30 Refills in 1 cart is probably pushing the limits.......but to tell the truth I use the same cart all week long and refill it 2-3 times per/day.....so that's 14-21 refills. Using Blank Coolcarts. Can't beat that!

And no, I don't bother cleaning or anything labor intensive. I simply top 'em off using the Condom fill method 99% of the time.

I have only used one on a passtrough. It was prefilled and I have refilled it five times ( with smilin' menthol), and it is going stong and has a great pull. Very impessive carto. I have ordered 5 more blank ones. I hope they work as well.

The blank carts(Wow and CoolCart) are identical in construction to the prefilled Wow and CoolCart.
The only variable will be filling technique and how long you let them sit after filling and before using.

Personally, I like the taste of fresh juice and blanks better. Plus I like to use a Wow juice(Cafe Mocha!) in a CoolCart blank.

IMO the new cool carts have a break in period. Once you've broken them in they work just as well as the prefilled. Once my prefilled are used I refill them as well. I wish V4L sold skins for the carto's so I can mark what flavor I've refilled them with. Hey V4L if you're reading this, please think about it.

I am impressed by the number of times you guys are refilling. I have never refilled beyond 3 times and I use the Wow blanks. I am curious if there is any deteriorization in the flavor after multiple refills and how much juice are you able to add when you refill. I find that they hold less juice after the first fill. I average 15 drops on a refill and 20-30 drops on a new cart. I use the condom/spin method. I do find that the flavor is diminished even on the 3rd refill. What is your trigger to refill? I usually start to get a hint of burning taste and stop. The juice I use is 50/50 pg/vg so there is less decline in vapor before the flavor falls off.

I pretty much agree with you. I use Cool Carts and they seem to last a little longer, I refill maybe 5-6 times and usually refill with about 20 drops. As soon as it tastes burnt carto is done.

Take my refill count with a grain of salt. I never ever let them get less than 50% full....they never get dry as my fills are more of a topping off. Still, I do use one cart all week long 90% of the time.

I use WOWcarts, pre-filled and blanks. I average between 15-20 refills before a cart needs to be washed. On refills I can fit 30-35 drops and on new blanks or freshly washed cartos I can fit 40-45 drops. I just said goodbye to a 1st gen wowcarto last week after 6 months of use being filled 3-4 times/week.

Overall most cartos last about 50 fills for me though I have gotten a few boxes of WOWcarts prefilled that had to be junked after only a few uses because they sstarted to leak.

30 to 35 drops! Wow, you are the king, have no clue how you can do that? I agree about not letting the carto get dry. The moment my flavor starts tasting funky, that's when I stop.
I throw that carto in my plastic bag full of almost empty carto's and move onto the next new or refilled one.

The carto's which are almost empty or dry, I'll either refill them (top them off in reality) or I'll boil and dry them. I check the inside to see if they're alright then refill them. At most on a new or a clean carto I can get about 20-25 drops in.
If I let the carto sit for a few minutes, then roll them in the palm of my hands, I find I can add more juice...that's when I can get up to 25, with any luck 28 drops in.

I must of gotten a pack of SUPER carts or something because the ones I am using now aren't lasting nearly as long but I noticed the juice is also different this time. I used WOW Cowboy Menthol for both packs of carts but the newest juice is brownish/yellowish in color. The carts that lasted around 60ml were filled with almost clear juice.
