First off I would like to say hello to all the Vapors out there........

Now I hate joining a new forum and starting off with a problem but I really really have to. I am extremely new to the vaping scene as in about 10 days into it.. Right away from the first toot on my extremely cheap first e-cig I knew I needed a better experience so I ordered an MVP V2 that came a day ago... It came with an iclear30 tank and I couldn't wait to use it as all the research and reviews I had read said I was in for a treat.. Unfortunately that's not my experience so far, it constantly makes a gurgling sound when I use it I say constantly but I have had a few gurgle free uses that only make me more disappointed when it does gurgle....

So far I have cleaned the tank twice (doesn't appear to help)

Changed the voltage and wattage ( currently on 10.5 watts)

The ohms reads 2.1 and then it says 3.9 (guess that's the voltage)

Yet still I have a gurgle and variable amounts of actual vapor...

So any ideas as how to get the best from my new toy and help me continue to stop smoking the dreaded tobacco stings would be greatly appreciated

Personally for a trouble free tank system with the mvp I would suggest hit your b&m or order online the iclear x.1, or the 30s for a good simple reliable tank start off with and go from there. the 30s has a tight draw, but runs very well up to about 4 volts, nice production and flavor for a tank. the x.1 I really enjoy when I do not feel like fiddling with dripping, or I am out and about.

I was going to say, yup that's an iClear *lol*

Mine gurgle, and then you blow out half the tank in juice out the bottom to get it out.

Ok firstly use a needle or dropper if you've got a really steady hand, those are top fills, and if you look down in there, there's the air tube, and a perforation running across it, get the juice in those big holes (NOT the center one). Fill 'er up, screw the top down while upright, suck slow and steady (you do a big suck you'll get juice in your mouth) .

not my favorite tank for my MVP, but it's 'alright" the iClear XI is worse about that and it's a bottom fill, you have to do a lil half screw then turn it upright then finish the job to get the vacuum going, or you'll blow out half a tank out the bottom getting that slurpy gurgle out.

if you are going to get another tank we LOVE LOVE LOVE the Kanger Mega (can't wait for mine to get in)
happy vaping!!

Like you, I got a free iclear 30 with my MVP and was also excited to use it. After trying a little while, and having the same problems you are having, I passed it along to someone here on the forum who wanted it. I know some people like the iclear 30 and say good things about it, but I just didn't like anything about it.

I am now using the Smok Tech Pyrex Aro tanks with my MVP and they are hassle free and work so well. No leaks, great flavor and vapor. Here is a link if you want to check them out. I have several and keep them loaded with different juices that I rotate from day to day:

Your tank sounds flooded. Get a napkin and take the tank off and wrap the napkin around the tank and blow through the top. The excess flooded liquid will come out of the tank and this should help you. Never when filling a tank get the liquid in the center post. This is the air flow. If you do, it will gurgle and spit. Keep blowing through the top until it blows clean. Then you should be able to vape. I always blow through the top to clear the tank before I put it on.

It could mean one of two things. You may have water or some form of condensation in the airflow center tube or you may have a defective tank. I have the MVP and personally don't like the clearomizers they come with. The Innokin tanks have never worked well for me, leaking gurgling and muted taste. Try to take of your base and blow from the top drip tip (mouth piece) while holding paper towel or cloth on the other end. Make sure that your coil is fitted properly on the base, it shouldn't be too tight, just enough for a "firm" connection. Clean your battery connection to make sure that there is no liquid and gunk near the center pin. You can use q tip with rubbing alcohol. See how that works.

Realsis is right. I use 30s and they're less prone to gurgle but still need blowing out now and then. Also, wipe the contact were the tank screws in. Small amounts of juice drip down there and add to gurgle.

With the 30s (not the 30... only tried one of those, ordered by accident actually), when they get to gurgling a lot, the coil head is the problem. I soak mine overnight and air dry but over time have to get new ones anyway. The coil heats and cools repeatedly, it can't last forever.

They're not too pricey though. I just got in a half dozen for $18 and that'll keep me a while.

Haven't yet tried the Aero nor the new (and Pyrex) iClear X.1 but plan on it. Pretty happy with the 30s so far.

Having tried all of the suggestions I have had to fix the gurgling noise on my iclear 30 it's still gurgling....... Gutted isn't the word..... Have noticed that pretty much as soon as I start using it the silicone bit above the wicks appears to be covered in liquid so maybe I have a faulty tank ??? Going to contact the vendor to see what they say

Thanks for all your advice tho

I like aerotanks much better than the I clear. The MVP is great though!

You might want to try the new Nautilus mini. Hearing great things.

The Nautilus mini is absolutely great! The iClear may have great reviews for its time. But the time of the iclear (16s and 30s) is long over. My iclear worked fine for a few months but honestly the vapor quality is so subpar compared to what you can get these days.

Look into the aspire nautilus mini

Been a busy couple of days so haven't been able to report back that all seems to be working right with my MVP and iclear 30 tank..... Getting really nice vapor and taste and no gurgle ( well I say no it still happens but maybe 1 or 2 times a day)... So I am gonna stick with what I have until I decide what to spend my money on next....

Want to say thank you to all that helped me and gave me great vape taste and experience back CHEERS

I liked the iclear 30 on my mvp well enough when I started vaping, being really careful on filling was helpful to prevent the whole flooding issue. Smoother less frequent pulls also helped, you can in some cases suck the things into flooding in an attempt to get the vapor/nicotine your looking for.

As others have mentioned there are a whole slew of other devices out there that will outperform the iclear line of atomizers, nearly all of which will work just fine on your mvp.

Most folks discredit the iclear line because they have a really tight draw and that leads to very little vapor production (which is almost universally equated to lower quality and less satisfaction).

I'd suggest spending a bit of time at a vape shop, with your mvp and iclear, talking to customers and staff alike about what they use. perhaps some will share (most vapers are willing) what path took them to the device they are using. You might even get to try a few of the devices out mentioned above.

As for saving money, I think I'm about at the point now where I can say I don't regularly spend as much on vaping as I did on smoking. I can say that at first I was questioning if the savings would come, they do.

Looks like I am going to have to get a different tank then ....... My wife is not going to be amused it was meant to save money switching away from proper cigarettes so far I have spent a fortune lol

My hubby crabbed about it too when I first started. Seemed I was buying more juice, new tanks, and dozens of heads. Then he saw, even with all the goodies I was getting, that it was still so much less expensive. He says "You buy whatever you want, if it keeps you off the Marlboros!"

Is it possible that your coil is loose? I have the 30, 30S, and XI and the only one that ever gurgles is the 30, seems the coil comes a lttle loose on it easily. The 30S is my favorite, my wife loves the XI. It takes a while to find what is best for you, but you will.

I get very addicted to new things so I have spent a bit of money so far and I will continue to spend it (I know this for a fact) but £7.70 a pack buying to of those a day most days I know I am saving money and when I get the setup I feel is best for me I will save even more I am sure

Huh. I certainly wouldn't say that about the 30S. If they produced much more vapor, I'd need fog lights in the living room. :)
