So I've been using a itaste v3 with a kanger t3s clearo (that I have come to believe is a fake). I am constantly having gurgling issues and I seem to have roc clean my replacement coils WAY too often. I also seem to burn through a coil in one day (even after cleaning/dry burn I find gurgling issues and less vapor production. I think I want to go away from clearos but I'm not sure. Can anyone give me some advice? Also I am asking for a new setup for Christmas if I cannot find a solution to give me a consistent vaping experience. Any replies/advice would be helpful at this point. I got so fed up yesterday that I smoked a cig :(

First off, I would encourage you to put up with the leaking and gurgling over actually smoking, but if you must smoke, just remember this: Don't count your failures by the cigarettes you smoke, count your successes by the ones you don't!

As for your tank issues, I have had GREAT success with the Kanger Protank 2 and the iSmoka BCC (both the Mega and the Mini). I would recommend either of them without hesitation. I generally get 2-3 weeks out of a coil before cleaning it, and 2-4 cleanings per coil before rebuilding/replacing them.

Also, make sure you are cleaning the 510 connector on the battery itself too, sometimes juice will collect in it and cause the gurgling problem. I will try to provide more info later, but I have to run now.

Sorry this is so short!

Hi element....welcome! Sorry you're having trouble with your stuff. I was using clearos for only about a week or 2 before I realized they weren't going to cut it for me. I think I'd recommend cartomizers. A good carto/tank set up is super consistent and reliable...not to mention, easy. There are many videos on youtube about priming a carto before use and installing them in a tank. Baditude has a really good blog about it right here on ecf. Maybe a good pv, like an MVP would be a good start. Whatever you do, don't let faulty equipment be your excuse to smoke.

Well, there are other brands and models of clearomizer tanks on the market you could try. The Kanger T3's are relatively "old technology" comparatively speaking when compared to the current Kanger Evods/Protanks and Innokin iClear 16/30's. All of these have replaceable coil heads to prolong the life of the tanks themselves. I'm a fan of the iClear 30 myself.

You could also try a delivery attachment which uses an entirely different wicking setup - cartotanks. A little more of a learning curve, but not by that much. Once set up, they have zero maintanance, and many believe they have better flavor production than clearomizers.

I was using a Protank2 when I first started and the first week was amazing, second week sucked ... with gurling and leaking (most likely user error), and third week was so-so. Then the cycle just continued like that and I was getting tired of it. Then I moved on to carto and carto tanks and stuck with Boge F16 carto tank with Boge 2ohm cartos for the tank. Never looked back. I used Baditude's drip-and shake method to prime and been like that ever since. My K100 mod with IGO-W is a totally different experience though but the point is, is that to me, carto tanks are less fussy than clearos
