Sounds like there is a loose wire in your coil, know some atty's, when over tightened, can bend the coil wires. On a re-buildable atomizer, when large ohm fluctuations occur, it's a sure sign that one of the coil lead wires is not tight. Not an iclear user, so not familiar with its workings.

Try changing out the coil head, make sure it's snugged in nicely, juice it up, wait like 5 minutes or so, for the wick to get fully saturated with juice, before taking that first vape. Neglecting to ensure wick saturation can lead to burn wicks, dry hits and gurgling. Basically by burning the wick, it reduces it's wicking potential, sometimes reducing the wicks diameter, causing frustrating inconsistencies.

Don't fret to much, ain't nothing that we all haven't experienced, and many more will. Getting to know your equipment and how everything function properly, is the number one way to insure satisfying consistent vape. It gets better.

good luck, just take thing slow, and learn from previous miss vapes. :D

Vape long and Prosper.!!!

Looks like I am going to have to get a different tank then ....... My wife is not going to be amused it was meant to save money switching away from proper cigarettes so far I have spent a fortune lol

Since everyone else has given you a lot of great help on the tank issue, I just wanted to say that -- first of all, yeah at first you spend a lot, however once you get your hardware issue resolved, you'll be saving money from your stinky habit so long as you don't fall into the "shiney" trap and keep buying new stuff... HOWEVER, even if you do fall in love with all the toys and keep buying, remind your wife that the house doesn't smell like an ashtray anymore and neither do you, and you will be saving TONS of money on medical bills, not to mention she gets to keep you longer because you'll be healthier. That's worth a lot more than a few dollars spent finding the right equipment. :) *Thumbs up* for starting a brand new life.

We ALL share your pain, brother. [emoji13]
But it's so worth it!
My humble opinion is get an Aspire Pyrex BDC tank. You can break them down into 3 pieces for ease of cleaning, and quickly replace the coils when they burn out. Their surface area isn't completely glass-covered, so they can withstand a lot more abuse than an all-glass tank. I found this out after some db pulled out in front of me because they were tired of waiting to make a left turn, and my rig (I feel like such a poser using that word *LAO*) flew off the passenger seat, hit the dash, then hit the floor while remaining fully intact. Yep. Aspire has a fan for life.
And at a mere $7.50 each, you can afford to stock up. [emoji8]
Happy vaping!

I hadn't read the second page here before I commented. I see you are "making friends" with your iclear and that's great! I did forget to mention that some head assemblies seem to take a day or two to "break in". I have a couple of tanks that I HATE everytime I rebuild them until they break in.

That's what I loved about my Phiniac too! I dropped it and my Tesla vv/vw down the stairs at home (I think the cat tripped me on purpose!), it tumbled all the way down to the tile floor below... I FREAKED! Ran down the stairs as quick as I could and snatched it up for a thorough examination... it was FINE! Not a scratch or crack to be seen... if I didn't fall in love with dripping and learned to hate cartos so much I'd still be using it!!

Well, getting settled in can cost some but once you get rolling, you can save quite a bit. I spend maybe a tenth (seriously) of what smoking used to cost me monthly.

You can make vaping into a hobby and spend some serious money (and, hey, there are worse hobbies... smoking for instance) but you don't have to. I do DIY juices and save a truckload. I buy premix now and then as a "splurge".

But, yeah, the "up front" seems pricey. Still, a lot of that is hardware. Durable stuff that'll last a while. Verses cigarettes which you buy to deliberately set fire to. :)

Yes, as you get more into it, you may find that DIY and building coils is something you enjoy and will save you a TON.

Laughing so hard I have tears in my eyes... tears because that is so true.

I like aerotanks much better than the I clear. The MVP is great though!

You might want to try the new Nautilus mini. Hearing great things.

No doubt that MVP IS great. I have two ! I have used EVOD tanks with as well as Aerotank Mega, Protank Mini and full size all with success. As far as spending money I am retired and do not have a lot of it however if I consider even one of the many aspects of not smoking "proper" cigarettes then it is worth every dime and then some. I hope you continue to trudge the road to happy destiny !

I am done with those tobacco monstrosities even tho first thing in the morning and after food are trying really hard to bite back lol

As for the money side of things I have probably spent £120 max getting to where I am now in a fortnight which in "real" cigs would have been roughly the same if not a few pounds more I am happy.. I have a nice setup now it appears to have broken itself in ( fingers crossed ) plus I can climb the steps without feeling out of breath which is a good thing lol

I have a lot of problems with gurgling on my evod plastic tanks n found if u just snug the coil in don't tighten too tight it reduces the space from the top of the coil grommet to the center tube and u get a tighter seal there n the gurgling stops till about a week of use then it gets worn out n wont seal anymore but by that time the coil is burnt out n no vapor anyway, I wouldn't recommend the evod just I got 5 for I think it was $25 on ebay to use on multible flavors, I have 2 cheep evod twist batt. n just got 2 aspire et-s glasso's, worked great for half a tank then got burning taste, found it to be starving for e-juice took out the outter paper inside coil cap n now working great, loads of vape, great taste n no gurgling, love it. also have pro-tank 3 mini & full size, didn't like the original 2.0 coils it came with got some new upgraded 1.5 ohm coils n works as good as aspire now, goes through coils faster though. n I have the evods I already explained, all running 3.8 volts works for me as r the reg. non adj. voltage evod batt. should work just fine, but sounds like u have a great mod.

Well good luck happy vaping n yes a lot cheaper than the $70/wk. I spent on smoking cigs. not to mention the medical bills!!!!!!

Heh. First time that occurred to me? Me too. I mean, you wanna talk wasting money? My last hobby was buying stuff that not only could kill me but that I was going to set on fire on purpose.

Yeah that made... um... sense?
