Sorry to necro this (I guess it's ony been a week and a half) but I'm loving the idea of an e-hookah. Why use battery power, though, when you can have it plugged into the wall?

I think the best way to do this (I'm no tinkerer) would be to modify an existing hookah with an LED coal on top and a rotating tube. The atomizer would need to be at the top near the coal (if this is where the cartridge would also be for easy liquid dripping).

So, who wants to make one? I will buy this.

-A battery that will screw onto a pen-style, a little thicker than a pen style battery, that you can put 1 rechargeable AA battery in and just switch the batteries out. Make the pressure switch is really nice and heavy-duty. Keep it from getting gunked up.
-A different cart material that does not burn and wicks really good. If it only last a day that's fine, so long as it lasts a day.
-A tool that cleans your atomizer gently without breaking it. This could be as simple as a soldering bulb. Sell it on a website!

-flavorless vg e-liquid so we can mix our own flavors in.

ha ha. some of you already had the same ideas as me. i've always wanted a hookah, but now that I'm a non-smoker...i was always jealous of all their different flavoured tobaccos.

I would like someone to design a 2-4 person e-hookah. i don't care if it need to be plugged into the wall. It would be great for parties. no cartridges, just add e-liquid somewhere in it, and plug in, and attach hose, and start vaping.

imagine these things in a funky nightclub on each table, where you sit on a cushion, and there are laser lights, and trippy music, you and your friends vaping 0 nic cherry, the whole place nice and smokey like smokey lounges used to be...

Great minds always think the same, we tried before, but havent find a better way to do it. maybe need more discussion for this

Maybe a smaller sized hookah design with the liquid in a glass type container on the top that has a large wick placed at the bottom, which touches the atomizer at the bottom. The one or two pipes could be hooked up from there, along with the power supply.

I do really like the e-hookah idea. I hope someone is silently working on one. As for a multiple person hookah, I'm sure it's possible but you would have to have seperate atomizers for each person pulling from the same power source. I think a plug would be the best way to go instead of batteries (saves on replacement costs).
