Anyone else see these? I think it's some really nice work. They use the sx350 chip as well.

If you look around and even on this forum somewhere there are some real exotic wood box mods that are stunning, you have lots of choices. Luckily these types of mods ( wood) are not difficult if you have woodworking skills , even a basic plunge router with some specialty bits can route out the inside area .

Thats something you would do first before cutting the main piece and shaping it.

Herb I would have to agree with you. Personally, I have not seen to many wood boxes with the sx350 chip but I have seen some really amazing wood boxes. If I was to make my own box mod I would probably use wood... it's by far, the easiest to work with.

Oh OK , yeah the SX 350 chip is a big plus , i was not considering the chip , i was speaking solely on the wood mod and what that can entail , lots of options afterwards with electronics.

I think the big price on these is the painstaking work thats involved in finishing and shaping the main piece , not the chip .

For the SX 350 you add $70.00 to the cost not including fitting and soldering , buttons etc...
