this is a so very satisfying device :)
i hope v2 comes in two sizes: the same 'the most interesting man in the world' size, and the 'hipster' size (smaller), so i can get both :)
ideally the bigger size comes with bigger or more battery(s) and maybe the sx350J temp controlled chip

looks like a fine device, sure wish i had that kind of cash to spend in one pop....:toast:
Yeah they are a not the cheapest but they really are built solid and if you can get one in your hand I bet you won't want to let it go, and doubtful you will feel any buyers remorse.

Yeah Jordan almost convinced me to get the clear. The majority of my my mods have some version of a gunmetal finish. :D a Just like the look. MHM gunmetal has a noticeable bluish cast to it but it's a color that I like even more than I thought. Attention to detail is what they were going for and it's one of my determining factors in getting this mod. Lots of great attributes! This is my first SX350 chip. There will be more! ;)
The clear was a tempting choice for me as well. Loving the green and glad it is what I chose. I like the gunmetal as well. This is my first SX350 chip mod as well and it is a great chip I like that it has both button functions and the gravity functions.

Another thing that has impressed me is that MHM seems to be ran like a real business, rather than a mod maker that takes the money to gain the capital to build the mods based on a pre-order process, and then ends up making you wait months to get the product. With the MHM everything from the ordering process, packaging, and the product itself feels like a real business rather than a mod builder working out of their apartment.

Nice pics. :)
You are already dreaming about a v2 as well I see lol. An SX350J chip would be awesome. I too would like to see the two options. One with a dual 26650 sled, and a smaller dual 18650 version. Will be cool to see what direction they go but for now just stoked about this version lol.

So I have been using this mod for a few now and I have to say it just keeps on being great. My initial impressions are still valid today. I use this device regularly at the house and I just think it is awesome. Very comfortable in the hand and has never tipped over lol. I have yet to have any issues with the chip or the firing. Just a very solid and reliable mod imo.

Good to know. This and the Beast Mode box are on my short list. I've jettisoned all of my regulated mods with the exception of my Yihi SX Mini. I'm trying re-focus my gear acquisitions towards higher end devices. Previously, I was buying nearly anything and everything just for the sake of having a bunch of mods.

A custom dual battery, regulated, stay at home type box is next on my list and I'm not terribly interested in anything in a Hammond enclosure. So, the Nucleus and the BMI box are the current contenders as I'm partial to the SX350.

Holy crap, I need that beast mode in my life. That thing screams workhorse.

Looks like there's enough "wasted" space inside that thing to fit dual 26650's and a 30ml bottle of juice. Or you could keep the 18650's and store a spare Kayfun in there. :)
lol yep it is a larger mod but it feels so awesome in the hand and it hits like a dependable beast.

I have noticed your transition by the mods that have hit the sales threads. I am sort of doing the same thing but I am still acquiring certain mods that I wanted to check out like the Provari, VS and various dna 30 devices. Not sure how long I will hold onto them but I want to say yep tried it lol.

I totally get the Hammond enclosure mods thing because they are so over used and since they are an affordable prefabricated box imo the affordability factor of the components should translate to the end price for the consumer. I have a Hex and like it quite a bit but when I look at it I see how much in parts and labor is really there so in my mind I view it is over priced. Take that Hex and give it a bad ... enclosure that came off a CNC machine and then the price tag makes more sense to me.

The BMI is another nice looking USA box, not sure if I love the blocky shape when comparing it to the Nucleus, but the wiring looks tight under the cording, and not having one I can not say for sure but they seem to have paid attention to building a quality mod with a quality chip.

imo you can't go wrong with the Nucleus as it is a really well built USA mod. The size is obviously what some ppl focus on and yep it is larger no denying that, but I use it as my home mod and for that purpose it is freaking great lol.

I wish the MHM had used the same cutout logo and serial number engraving similar to what the BMI used rather than the paint as paint no matter how good will not hold up as well as the stamped or engraved lettering, but overall that is a minor complaint of mine. I have been trying to find flaws and cons with it and so far that is the one that sticks out to me the most.

Bottom line imo it is a nicely built mod that uses a good quality chip and the customer service from the company is very responsive. Unless the MHM sales are not there I would imagine they will be getting more discussion in the future.

You know I was thinking about you the other day. I was thinking how cool it is that with a limited production run device like the MHM that there is a few of us that are active on the forums that know how great this mod is.

Any thoughts on the - Iconic mods They are doing a sale for $169.00 and was curious if you have looked into them.
I've looked briefly at them. Really not a fan of the Hammond box look. The large +/- buttons look a little strange. Not sure why they went that route?

I'm pretty sure I'll be buying a Nucleus on Friday. Just wanted to check back in and make sure no one is having any issues before I pull the trigger.

I haven't had a single issue. On the other forum you can ask Zamazam as well, he has had his longer but he has not mentioned anything.

You might have another issue though and that will be finding one. I asked Jordan about a v2 recently because I noticed he did not have any listed as available on the MHM site. There is no v2 anytime soon, but he mentioned 60 special edition units being available in the next couple weeks. The special edition is suppose to have laser engraved lettering and a Cerakote or powder coat finish. Sounded pretty sweet to me since a Cerakote is adurable finish and etched lettering is something I felt would have been nice from the beginning. If that is something that interests you you might want to contact him and see when the release is and to verify the price point as I am not sure if it is the same or not.
