I found an M201 under the Xmas tree from the wife, not a complete surprise I must admit.
I am however, very, very disappointed in it, can hardly get any vapour out of it, not even by dripping. I charged the 1st battery overnight and tried it out this morning. I can hear the big atty snap, crackle and popping like a dragster engine trying to start, but only a weak, flavourless, wispy vapour comes through. The liquid in the cart and atty is cooked almost immediately from clear to a bright red-orange colour and tastes gross. Cannot possibly be the same device as shown in the videos on this forum, nor the wonder VP some have described here. The hard pull seems to indicate a constricted airflow through the atty, also indicated by how quickly it becomes too hot to touch.
Got a manual USB passthrough as well and this is just as useless, just cooks the juice faster.
The passthrough does however, work very well with an 801 Stick atty attached, but this trick doesnt work with the M201 batteries because the pull/airflow is so easy and smooth, the auto battery doesnt activate.
Im facing some embarrassment too, I enthusiastically recommended an M201 to somebody, based on information and reports here and now I have to please explain why it performs worse than their previous Njoy penstyle. Theyre so ...... they want ME to give them their money back.
I got a spare atty with it, but that behaves the same, so nothing wrong with either atty. Gave the atties enough juice and time to prime, even flooded one and had to clean it out, so priming's not the problem. I have from the dealer that it is a genuine Smoore.
Any advise, SA and/or international, that will get this seemingly useless thing to work, will be highly appreciated.
