Okay, this will probably seem ridiculous! I got my 901 today and was sooo excited to try it out, so I charged it and am giving it a bash, using the starter cartridges provided.

I tried the low....nothing. I'm now trying the medium, not really getting the "hit", but what I am getting is juice on my lips (by the way - urgh! - horrid taste!).

Is this normal or am I just sucking it too hard trying to get a hit? (I am taking long deep draws, much longer than I'd take with an analog).

I suspect you're sucking too hard Lil as I did when I first got one. Try slow, soft gentel draws & remember the atomisers have a primer liquid on them when new which might not be very nice. It also might be a good idea to try topping up the cart with 1-2 drops of liquid when you get some. :)

PS If you were a heavy smoker you might need stronger carts I know I did.

it's all down to your atomizer, that's one thing i've learned.

With a good atomizer a small gentle draw will produce great billowing clouds of vapour with no particular effort or skill. With a bad atomizer very little will happen.

Atomizers can sometimes be useless out of the box or just gradually wear out.

Just keep trying, the concept of e-smoking works amazingly well but the quality control on parts isn't great.

There's no such thing as a stupid question.
.........however, stupid answers do exist.

Don't be afraid to ask.!! That's why these forums exist in the 1st place.
Sharing of knowledge/experience/DISCOUNTS.!!!

:D

I get the same thing from mine. Turns out its a faulty battery.
I have the SE Gold (forgot the actual model number..... RN4081?)

I switched to the other battery and don't have the problem.

And yes......a mouth full of nicotine is nasty.!!!!
