Good morning, hope you had a good weekend. Wondering if you are going to bring the cages today. Picking up my bird tomorrow (so excited). Thanks Donna

Nope sorry I sold the cages to Ralph yesterday. His wife needed them for the parrots. Your Welcome Eric.

You dont need a voltmeter for any VV Mod, you set it at its lowest setting and slowly move it up until your happy with the sweet spot you like, No meter needed for this. I really dont think you can also compare VV Mods to the VV Ego Twist, simply because of form factor, with the Ego being a stick type ecig and the batt is sealed inside so no other Batts needed.

I would say what you have to make up your mind first if you want to carry a bigger unit being a Mod, or stick with a sleeker thinner ecig, once you make your mind up between stick style or Mod then move forward. Also consider if you want an all in one type VV Feeder Box mod like the VV Reo Grand, this would be an excellent choice and they should be ready soon.

If your going to keep using the Dual coils, then you should also consider a Mod that has the highest Amp limit so you get max performance out of your MDC Cartos. The VMax would be a good one for those with its high 5 Amp limit and priced right and fits your budget I think, there available here = Vmax Variable Volt V4 - Stainless and has a LED Display on it too. just a suggestion after reading what your looking for to meet your needs shstarose.

These are also coming but have a 3Amp limit here = http://www.vaporbeast.com/The_VARIO_Advanced_Personal_Vaporizer_p/sk27.htm?Click=391

If you're going to use dc's then probably not, but I was going to mention the gripper also. Some folks are really not liking the cheaper pwm's but I love this thing. I've also seen quite a few folks say that they're liking this as much or more than their provaris. I don't know much about all this stuff, but since you're just venturing into vv, this might be a good starting place to see if that's what you want. Not everyone ends up wanting/liking vv. My only problem with it so far is the threading doesn't seem to be done very well, so if you do try this, I'd suggest using a 510 sealed shorty right off the bat to avoid a lot of wear on the threading.

Kinda funny but even with my Provari, I set it to taste .. and then look to see what voltage it is set at.

IMO there is no one shoe fits all, and there is also no one shoe that fits every occasion. I really have no desire to walk around town looking like I'm trying to impress someone with a cucumber in my pocket. So you would probably catch me with a little keyring or ego type PV hanging from a lanyard. No different than I don't get out my flip-flops when I go to a ballet in a tux.

So, at least for me, the best PV is "more than one".

I have one and it's great! It's not a mod that's going to last the rest of your life but, it packs in a lot of features for a small price. I'm with six, I think meters on PVs are for tourists. Numbers don't matter, taste does and there is no one sweet spot. The atomizer changes with time. The gripper does have the demon meter but, it has up/down buttons. I can overlook the meter as long as I don't have to wonder through menus to change voltage easily when I want.

the Ego's are good i wont deny that but i just cant stand how long the battery last i have to have a battery that will go the distance.....

Not that long in comparison. Here's the twist with big battery and DCA compared to provari with a tank.

Oh duh. You were just saying how long the battery lasts. My bad.

I don't see where this has been answered, but I'm tired so my apologies if I am repeating.

I'm not sure which type of tank you are referring to. There are the carto tanks like these M1A1 Buzz Tank - notcigs.com that you punch and insert a regular carto into. Then there are the vivi nova tanks and the like- GotVapes VISION ViVi NOVA™ 3.5ml V2.5 REBUILDABLE TANK [gv-VIVINOVA-TANKV2.5] - $13.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more which is an all in one unit and no carto is required.

As for a vv device, I highly recommend Mike's BuzzPro at notcigs, the first link. Actually, I have an infinity pro but the future is uncertain for it at the moment from what I understand. :( The BP is the same mechanics though, just a different shape.

Within reason, why should I care how long the battery lasts if I'm just sitting around beside the charger anyway. Now if I'm going to drive over to Wendover (commonly known in these parts as "bendover") for an evening of gambling, ya I want a PV with a large battery.

I have a Provari, several ego c-twists, and the itaste. They all are great for specific reasons.

Ego-C Twist: Great device. Use everyday for commuting. Easy to carry, lightweight in the purse and in the hand. Works well. I carry two to ensure I have enough battery for the day.

ProVari: Great device. Use everyday - sometimes when I am driving - but always at home. It just works rock solid. My only wish is that it were a little bit lighter. Gets heavy to my little girly hands sometimes.

itaste: My least favorite is the itaste - for the very reason I thought it would be good - the square shape. It just looks funky with round tank types. Cartos look fine. It does vape well. And if you lay it down it doesn't roll :). lol.

In summary - I can highly recommend the Ego-C Twist as a great VV device. They are a stroke of genius. ProVari is also highly recommended. But get what you can afford now. If you get an Ego C-Twist or two, and later get a ProVari, you will still find your Twists handy. It is not money wasted.

I would suggest the Gripper. It is small, pocket friendly, 18650 batt, great LED display, reads ohms and voltage, up and down voltage buttons and only 50.00. It's only drawback is it is made of plastic and won't survive a lot of drops. I have several VV PV's and the Gripper with a Vivi Nova attached is my favorite setup.:)

Well I'm leaning towards the Ego Twist, for now at least until I can get the Provari. Just a little courious about a tank. I have heard that the Vivi nova is good, but is there a spacer they use with that? Where do you find them if so. The point to my madness is I need a good draw thats going to give me the th and not cover the flavor so much, along with not needing to refill every couple hrs.
So what I have gathered is you don't want to use LR with the Twist

Right now I use a Chuck for my Adv Vaping. I was concidering an e-Go Twist as a start to VV, but I couldnt find the 1000mah battery for sale anywhere. I didnt want to spend $150 on a ProVari, so after looking around and doing some research I decided on the Vector VV from VaporBeast. The Yung June version of the LT seems like a better device than the L-Rider model.
My Vector should be arriving tomorrow. Cant wait to get into some Variable Volt Vaping

The vivi nova should screw onto the twist without any added spacers or adaptors. I really enjoy mine. (vivi nova that is) Mine came from madvapes. Just start out at the lowest voltage. especially with the 1.8 head. I just opened a new "kit".. the 2.4 head is metering 3.1ohms. I'm starting out at 3.7 and will work my way up slowly.

Since the twist only goes up to 4.8v, LR is what I would have to use. I have another VN head that is metering 3.3 and I'm vaping it at 5.2. If I had a twist, I would use boge 2ohm cartos with it, in a tank. This VN head that I've just started using today, that is metering 3.1, will eventually be vaped at upwards of 5v. I (myself) would not be able to get a satisfying vape if all I had was a twist that went to 4.8v. This is just me, many others would be fine with this. I also wouldn't want to try to use any VN without my provari or using a voltmeter with another device. I would be totally lost and it would be like walking around in the dark with my arms outstretched LOL. This is ME.. just as there's nothing wrong with not caring or needing to see numbers, there's nothing wrong with needing to see numbers either.

Not putting down the twist at all. This is info that you would need to be able to make an informed decision on what vv device (and what can go on it) will best suit your needs.
