reasons for 510 ???

I've been using a DSE901 for five months - NO analogs at all. I keep hearing that 510s are better. Can someone tell me in what way they are better? Better throat hit, more vapor, better batteries, etc? Before I start with a different kind of ecig, I'd like to know if I can really expect them to be any better. Thanks much.

Better is to subjective. Each has it's good points.

510 batteries don't last as long as a 901, though the 901 is'nt that great either.

Mainly I get more vapor and TH off of the 510, not necessarily better vapor.

I've personally got 510's (atty's only in a DIY Nicostick), and I've gotten a chance to try the 901's and 401's for a couple of days.

I like the 510 better myself because I like a bigger throat hit and more vapor (at least from my combination of atty's and DIY battery @ 3.7V)

However, I really do think the 401 and especially the 901 have a bit better flavor than my 510's.

That's my experience anyway... I guess it depends on which is more important to you, but for me I like the bigger TH and vapor.

Why change? If you're happy with your 901, then stick with it! You may just need to do a cartridge filler mod to make it work a little better.

Yes, I agree. I've only been vaping for less then a week after about a month of research. I didn't like the poly taste of the filters that came with my 901's. So with a little research I came up with a filter mod. I used a brew rite stainless steel gold coffe filter. I will post how I maade it soon.
