i'm thinking to buy rebuildable atomizer tank. is there any taste different between regular cartomizer vs rebuildable atomzer like AGA-T Plus REbuildable atomizer? Did they leak? I saw some videos on youtube, they look too complicated. Those tank look really nice. I would like to know some comments and reviews before i buy it. Some of those tanks are very expensive.

Winston, I'm right there with you in taking a good long look at the AGA-T+ or AGA-T2. Looking at the AGA-T2 kit from kidneypuncher.com right now, which has both the poly and the pyrex tanks for under $30 for the kit. I went and found some videos on youtube from pbusardo based on some recommendations here on the site and the walk through he has on rebuilding the tank show a process that is certainly a bit time consuming, but it looks to be a strong rebuild process with each step being fairly do-able for most people. You might want to look for those videos. I say go for it, but I'm kinda a gadget hound and love the challenges. ;)

Its really not that complicated. After an hour or two (maybe much less) you will get the hang of it, and once you get it, it takes minutes to build a perfect set up. I have timed myself, from complete scratch to a perfect glowing coil set up took under 3 minutes.

Im one of those that *always* recommend rebuildables to beginners.

And the beauty of RBAs is, $8 can vape better than $200 if you know what youre doing. You have to build your own setup, and vape quality depends on your setup quality.

for the genesis style RBA's it seems leaving the fill screw out seems to aid the wicking process (according to many opinions, as well as my own) and if you dont keep it close to straight up it will leak, and even with the fill screw in, it will leak out the wick eventually. however the taste is amazing imo, the cartos just seem blah after using the genny. cartos seem to taste better with stronger tasting juice...just my experience.

All I can say is that I would *never* recommend a rebuildable to a beginner.

On the other hand you can actually rewick even a $3 clearomizer so... maybe start with one of those! :D

I agree with Oktybar. I've vaped for 6 years and it was still quite a learning curve to get going with my IGO-L rebuildable atomizer (RBA). Unless you have a good background on electrical and are very familiar with how atomizers work, I would suggest to start out with the cartomizer versus the RBA.

You'll definitely get more vapor production and flavor with an RBA, but you'll still get a great throat hit/vapor/flavor with a cartomizer.

Now if you JUST HAVE TO dive into RBAs, then I definitely recommend to look over the RBA threads before purchasing anything. Based on your personal preferences, look into the type of RBA device you want, wick, wire, and the compatibility with the eCig battery/device you have. Good luck and keep vaping! :vapor:
