Rebuildable attie for a newbie...advice wanted

Hi All,

I'm looking into something like a genesis (but not the original as too expensive) as a rebuildable attie. I've seen reviews that say SS mesh is far better than silica wick.

Can anyone recommend a rebuildable for me?

Rebuildable attys are an advanced item and they can kill your battery if you're not careful. However, if you've got a fair amount of electrical knowledge and patience, they can be quite rewarding. Discountvapers.com has a nice selection of them, with tank and without, for less than $30. Check the Rebuildable Atomizer Systems subforum for tips and tricks.

s.s. wick is a w e s o m e ! Take a look at "did" atty from mmvapors.com 87 Euro. ON STOCK!!!! There are lots of clones on the market now,but I dont think they will hold up well. You may also want to look at the forum under Assorted pv topics,then the last one rebuildable atomizer systems. Lots of good info. best wishes

if you want a rebuildable for a newbie you cant go wrong with a vv nova, they are consistant and an entry level rebuildable IMO

There are several tutorials on how to use SS in your Vivi. I recommend this route above going straight to an RBA because if you decide rebuilding isn't enjoyable for you you have the option of going back to the prebuilt heads.

Have you looked at the JohnBoy Lava Tank with the LavaGen insert? Pain to get but seems like a nice setup can always go back to a cart when needed/wanted.

Your best choice is a did clone. A lot of the cheaper rebuildables have smaller holes and parts so the incredibly hard to work with. The did clone is the best for compared to others in the price range

Got a Grifin at a cheap price to see if RBA's and RAT's would be for me. Just getting into the learning curve. This site has saved to day for me. Wanted to say F@#k it, but am hangin in there.

A DID clone (plus P+) is my best choice also.

If you can master the did clone, you can master any genesis style atty. The more expensive offering (from what I've used) only upgrades fit and finish, build quality, and materials chosen. Vape quality is dependent on the coil that you build.

+ 3 on the DID clone for first genesis style RBA. Practice making wicks & coils till you get a good vape. Then when you upgrade (Bliss, cobra, etc) you will be an RBA expert!

just few days playing with cobra clone...the weight comparable with DID...there is need to tweak here and there to keep me satisfied.for me
it is good start playing with mesh and for the price about 1/8 it is worth.btw afterall the ori DID is .....cheers

The did clone is defiantly not bad for the $. $20 at cov but I just have not found anything that matches the gg Odysseus or Penelope. I only use rebuild ambles now for the past year. Attys and cartos just don't taste right to me anymore
