So here is the BIG update :

I did my first rebuild today and it's AMAZING.

First of all start with basics :

3 mm Wick from Jughead.co
I tried the 2 mm wick from vaporbase but it was to thin in my opinion.
32 AWG wire Kanthal A-1

The guide :

How to rebuild a Kanger T2 | Ecig Advanced Community Blog

First try was failure because I left the wire lead too short and put the metal wire tube inside the silicone and tried to close the deal... failed (method A in guide).

Redo it (method B), btw I put a safety pin trough the wick to be able to to the wrapping properly and wrapped 4 times around it tight but not over tight,
removed the needle and placed the coil inside the center tube... well see the guide.
Placed the silicone and THEN the metal and worked just fine.

Tested with multimeter , showed 2.1 ohm , tested with Zmax showed 1.9 .

Now time to vape... first 5-10 puffs where ok , a bit weak and tasteless at 7W. Cranked up to 10.5 W and start getting lots of vape until... all of the sudden the FLAVOUR hit
I was OMG !!! I NEVER tasted anyhting so good , LOTS of vape and TASTY TASTY TASTY.
Dialed down to 10W and started to vape like a baby sucking milk the first time. This is bar none the best vape to date.
I had to stop because I got dizzy but I can't believe how smooth the vape felt , full and satisfying.
I measure the coil again and seems it stabilized around 1.8 ohm.

I will not be able to use the bought coils again.

Only worry I have now is that small silicone gasket will rip after a few applications but what the hey... it's worth buying heads a rebuild them 2-3 times I am still ahead and the taste is soooooo much better.

Geez you're the man, dude!
these t2's are'nt the most rebuild-able friendly devices..for me at least..lol

-getting the coil in was my first obstacle
-next trying to squeeze in the little rubber, it just dont seems to sit in for all i care..
-finished me off with a nightmare by the plug! totally tactical experience lols.

failed and rewired thrice at no ohm reading on a vamo..
figured even if it fired, i'd have minimum entry clearance to twick the coils as well..
so yea.. had to pick up my vivi instead followed by a beer to end my day haha :vapor:

Rebuilding sounds like a good stop gap. Never had an issue with my T2's only run 1.8ohm heads and they do a great job straight out if the box. Still have the originals in and I'm 9 months in. I do regular cleanings and don't use very dark juices in the T2's. I save them for the cheapo clearos or a mesh Tank.

First benefit of rebuilding is taste , I NEVER tasted a juice so good and that is because the default wick is crap and will start to burn
at around 8-9W.
If you use quality wick you can go to 12W without any bad taste and up to 25W with really good wick , the GG if you can get it.
Another benefit is that you can build the ohms you want and have consistency , I bought coils form same place and they never been the same , they where from 1.7ohm to 2.9 ohm so juices tasted either burned or muted.

Try method B , place the silicon gasket first and then the metal plug and LEAVE LONG WIRES so you can move them around with ease.
Another recommendation is to keep the two wires on the opposite sided of the circle this was you're sure they won't cross.
I need to go buy a smaller scissor to cut the wires at the end but otherwise you don't need any special tools just follow the guide.
