Did you guys tried the micro coil build? Good vapor production and tasty. 3 folds of wick and 7 or 8 loops of .28 kanthal wire. I will post the photo later.

I use 3mm silica/32ga kanthal in 5 to 6 wrap micro-coil on my T3/T3S/Evod/Protank heads, works far better than a stock head as the heat is focalized at center in the cup of the heads. Tried 28ga with an 8 wrap config, still a fine flavor, but the coil takes a while to get full output, basically right before an Ego shutdown due to the 10 second timeout circuit. You are better off with 30/32/34ga wire in one of these heads due to size and generally the type of battery base, on a mech 28ga will work flawlessly, but on an Ego style or APV with circuitry and protection systems, smaller gauge wire is your best bet. Currently working with a Stainless 400 Mesh sheated in xs16 silica sheathing with a 4 wrap 32ga micro-coil on a Protank 2 I am testing that is cheifing like a champ atm, but my Evods and T3 tanks still using silica and ecowool wicks in them.
