Been vaping at the reduced level for 2 days now.. Getting really tired too easy

Is this typical?

Last time I cut was like 3 months ago, and I don't remember if I experienced the same thing

I went from 18 mg to zero nic in the span of about nine months. I did not get tired. I was making changes of 10 - 15% at a time and giving a change a few weeks to settle in before doing it again.

IMO at 2 days it doesn't surprise me too much. Give it more time if you can or go back up slightly. If you buy two nic levels of the same flavor juice you can mix different ratios of them together to get anything in between :thumb:

Yeah, I'm thinking that 25% cut has been more than I thought it would be.. Didn't realize it would affect me as much at these lower levels, but I guess it does..

Already made the commitment, so just going to stick it out..

I've cut 2 other times before this, and honestly don't remember the fatigue.. I don't think I'm getting a cold or anything out of the ordinary

I do, however, remember massive fatigue when I 1st switched to full-time vaping.. that was brutal!

Hi there, I too have been getting a bit tired more than usual, but I vape at 24mg nic. I don't know why but since I quit smoking (a month today)
I get tired more often.. meaning earlier, since I used to be a night owl, and I get hungry earlier too, I usually only eat once a day, around 6pm.
I feel better, and my lungs are getting better too. I can breathe easier, my persistent cough has all but vanished just can't figure out the tired thing either. Let me know if you come up with anything. I would be interested to know.
Good luck bud

Per webmd.com, the symptoms of nicotine withdrawal:

Headache
Nausea
Constipation or ........
Falling heart rate and blood pressure
Fatigue, drowsiness, and insomnia
Irritability
Difficulty concentrating
Anxiety
Depression
Increased hunger and caloric intake
Increased desire for the taste of sweets
Tobacco cravings

Just remember that you can end up with any/all OR none... of the symptoms.
Goes for anything you are cutting like this. Everyone is different and has different tolerances.

When I quit drinking.. I went from heavy hard alcohol consumption to dry in a day.. didn't have any problems at all quitting. And didn't even drink a beer for almost 20 years, I do have a beer from time to time now but cut myself off after no more than 2.

No when I quit eating sugary stuff.. that was rough. I crave sugar all day every day, but when I do relapse and grab a candy bar etc.. it's like crack. Then i get the headache and depending on how bad a bender i end up having.. heartburn.

EDIT: one thing I read about vaping compared to smoking.. make sure you are drinking lots of water. Vaping dehydrates you. (Or so they say, I drink a lot anyway so I don't notice)

Many of the symptoms listed may also be from dehydration, which is known to be caused by vaping. A thing to remember: any caffeinated and/or carbonated drinks will not rehydrate you - the best thing to use is plain ol' water, or herbal teas (green, black and other popular kinds do contain caffeine), diluted fruit/veggie juices are also good, but watch for those calories!
